Giants win!!!!

They were excellent, thoroughly deserved it. Their defense coped with Brady and co. brilliantly. Great game, very excitingSmile

Well worth being tired for schoolPfft

I started watching 1:59 to go. It was a good game from what I saw. Billichik needs to lose about 100 pounds and needs to grow up. walking off the field like that justs makes him look like an ass. Whe I played we had our fair share of success (state champs 2003!) but we always shook hands at the end of the game win or lose.

"Billichik" (spelling...) did one wrong: He was way too arrogant. Going for a first down on 4th down and 13 in the first half -- that's either plain stupidity or arrogance towards to Giants' defence.
Also, I don't get how four Patriots-players, who all have their hands on Eli Manning, don't manage to get him down. What a play by Manning, and what a play by Tyrenne.

I'm not a fan of either of the teams, but I always love to see the underdog win - and I did today. I was at a cinema with about 500 other people, watching the game. The tension was high, and it was really an enjoyable match - especially the 4th quarter. This Super Bowl will go down in history.

I disagree Crue. He was playing the percentages. Gambling c. 20 yards for a touchdown to most likely win the game. I would have done the same thing!

But what a display of fine defending by the Giants. I was sure it would be a Giants defender to be MVP untill Eli tore himself loose from that grasp of two Pats players to set up Tyree. Amazing play, well worht the MVP, by either player!

Go Mannings!

In a SuperBowl - which statistically always are very, very close - you simply need to get all the points you can. Taking chances are for the last part of the game. Until then, get the points you can. Especially against a such well-playing Giants defense.

What a contest! Giants deserved it in the end, some great play by Manning in the 4th quarter! Grin

yeah, but it was too far out for a figgie, to close for a punt!

Either way, great contest, and loads of fun to watch!

That play when Manning escapes from 2 or 3 defenses and passes to the player who catch the ball with one hand and his head decided the game...

Such a wonderful play...poor Patriots:cry:.

Agreed, I think that play will do down in history no doubt. Overall, what a fantastic game, might have been the best I have ever seen a beautiful outcome seeing I was rooting for Eli. Next year it'l be the Ravens holding the Vince Lombardi Trophy, mark my words Grin

Great thing I'm off from school today Smile

Off school? Why is that? I had my first day at school today after 2½ week of holiday. Speaking of bad timing...

Because of the Department of Education's "brilliant" idea about something called an AT-exam, where we have February to work on a synopsis (only 5 days off from school though), which we will examined in, when the shit hits the fan in May/June.

I was good all day until we had a talk about college for an hour from 2:00pmRolling Eyes

Giants were the best team, but when Patriots got their TD to make it 14-10, I thought they'd win it

they picked it up, they started attacking more which is what they should have done in the 3rd also. They were layed back and only attacked when they needed to.
