... and even more noticeable, unlike Sporting Lissabon, Lyon is now making its way back, 4-2 |

Is that next to Kyiv?
And about that Lyon comment: you really don't know much about football, do you?
Lyon has a brilliant team that is at its lowest form of the season right now.

Yeah, let's make fun of people making spelling mistakes. Good idea.
And what's wrong with what I said about Lyon? All I said is that they were behind 4-0, and now they're making their way back, 4-2, unlike Sporting who completely sucked. |

Judging by the game so far, with any justice, Atletico would've been hammered by several goals (just as they should've been in Madrid).....yet I have a feeling they're going to score and come away with a win.
It's always nice to see the home fans cheering an opposing player
And what a player he was....best player at Euro 2004 (I don't give a shit what UEFA says, he was quite clearly, and the press was unanimous on it), 2004 Champions league best 11, one of the best players at the world cup 2006 and a fantastic midfielder who could do everything........until he moved to Madrid and gained 10kg....he's been crap ever since. bah.
Between Atletico having Lev Yashin in goal tonight (sure seems like it...) and us hitting the post a million times, I'm getting a bit pissed

How the hell can we dominate two games so thoroughly and not win either of them?
Meh, who cares. Quarters, here we come.

Yeah, a long one.
Just a shame that, as I said yesterday, we're once again having the English championship instead of an European championship |

The rest of europe just needs to get better =)
Watch the UEFA cup if you want a tournament without English domination

Why dont they simply call this the English Cup. Or the Anglo-Spanish-Italian cup...or something.
I lost interestin CL long ago. When they made it for the numbers 2,3, 4 etc as well. How can you call it a champions league? When half of the participants aren't champions.
Weird sport, football. |

Well they call it the World Championships in cycling and there arn't many champions there. Then there is the world series in baseball. Onthe naming front why don't they just call the World cup the Euro-South America cup as no one else ever wins that either.

No, there is the World Cup in football, that's comparable to world championships and world series.
The CL isn't. |

sure let's make it possible to 'Dynamo of Krakhovya' to get to the group phase of the Champions League and play against Man Utd that would turn it all much more interesting...
just a word to Maniche: "thank you for all your work. Even after leaving the team you help us"

That shot from the center circle when the team was pushing hard made me laugh. Deep down he is still with us
