You, my friend, is just a poor, poor boy living in the Bronx of Lisboa, getting high on glue with all your poor, poor friends. At the same time, you're stealing Madeleines and watching all the Danish tourists come to your area, eating their huge pigs-on-sticks and pointing fingers at you.
Now that's how the reality looks like!
yeah, that's about the view I have of those idiots from Lisboa
Okay, okay, stop this, we can just settle this easily, by looking at Napoleonic naval battles. At Copenhagen, Nelson destroyed the opposing force, which included some Danish auxiliaries, while the Portuguese were instrumental in providing accurate information to Nelson in the lead-up to Trafalgar, therefore:
Portugal 1
Denmark 0
Now, there, its settled |

After four seasons with the Italian Liquigas team, Briton Charlie Wegelius may be moving over to the Silence-Lotto squad. The 30-year-old could be a valuable mountain domestique for Cadel Evans in the Tour de France. Sportwereld.be reported that the rider received an offer from the Belgian squad, but has yet to sign.
"We want Wegelius very much, because he's a fantastic rider," said Silence-Lotto director Roberto Damiani. "He is someone who can ride well in the medium mountains, and on a good day can even handle the high mountains. In the last Tour, we have seen that Evans needs such men to help him in those stages."

Wooooooo! I can now have a Brit in my races. Chaz moving to Lotto is a strange manouver, but one I like, we all love Chaz! It seems they're becoming a multi-national team, with Popo and Bileka last year and now we have a Brit, a Sweed and a frenchman. I just wonder who they're gonna get next, I just hope they get more people to help Cadel in the Tour, like CSC have.
Sad to see Vansevenant, Cornu and Tjallingii go, but happy to see Gilbert
Also shame that McEwen might be leaving, but he is getting on a bit, he's not as consistent and imposing as he used to be, but we'll still have Van Avermaet and Roelants.
I'm still waiting for Leuky to come back! lol |

Remember when I kept saying when Rujano signed for Caisse that it'd be his second to last chance, his last being whenever he failed and went back to Diquigiovanni with Savio, the only guy who's ever motivated him properly thus far?
I think he's toast at Caisse. Why do I say this? He's been saying all along that his big goal for the season was the Vuelta...and he's not on the pre-selected list of 12.

Anders Lund extends with CSC
Anders still has great potential and we'd like to keep him around and help him evolve. He's still got his first pro victory ahead of him, but I know he's a major talent, who can go far – so it's only a matter of time. He managed to get through a tough Giro d'Italia fine this year and I think it has helped toughen him up and also provided him with important experience and these two things in combination might help him on his way to achieving the results his talent warrants,” says Bjarne Riis
notice the "still". Lund's done jack squat so far. Time to keep up or get out.
