Thanks for all the reports, good to see Dombrowski up with the big guns, odd to see it so together. Congrats to SN.

68th and 138th by our two Aussie guys here. Not very impressing, hoped for a top 50 for Lowe, but still, this is the first time in our history that we actually get the honor of having riders in the A-WC.

The race in itself was exciting to watch, even though a little lack of drama at times, but very fun to see Schleck going victorious over the line. Big congrats to SN and thank you roturn for another terrific report.

Now on to every obscure-rider-manager's wet dream, the highly anticipated NC's. Bring it on!

The race wasn't really interesting at all, but in the end it all comes down to the quality of the report, so thanks to roturn who nonetheless made it a pleasure to read.

Considering that the TTs were not won by the powerhouses, it's quite nice to see the a real favourite grab the win. On the other hand: Italy surely delivered the most exciting racing.

I don't know how people found that boring, I actually thought it was quite a good race. Lots of attacks early on, nothing that could get away with a few big riders trying their luck. A few attacks across the middle part of the race, causing the big teams to come forward. The final climb didn't see sparks fly, sure, but is that really surprising when there were about 10 guys who went into this without a huge amount dividing them in terms of stats?

Thanks for the report roturn, I really enjoyed it. And a congrats to SN, well-deserved, of course.

I think Roturn should confess to running a WC road race on PCM12 (or was it 13 with huge mountain sprints?). Pfft
Sprint of 21 guys for the win, huh...the report was great though!

Huge congrats to Vesuvio and little Schleck for the deserved win, no doubt about best pure climber in the game! At least some consolation for Lombardia fluke.

Pluchkin was very weak in the end, the energy loss from ITT and weaker team can be seen as main reasons. Anyway, successful WCs for Metinvest with one gold and one bronze, also good top10 for Dzhus in U23 road race.

Btw. Sagan 22nd on mountainous course, WTF? Does the name itself give him +5 to all stats in every race?He is 74mo ffs Grin

Edit: Forot to congratulate Festina for the enormous achievment of having a medal in every race, pure class!

Congrats to everyone winning something, SN in particular. Hopefully we'll get to see the two rainbow jerseys battling out in the same race next year.

Great reporting from everyone. Thanks.

As I said on Skype, great report

Cheered for Sella in the end there, to bad the big bad Schleck overtook him. Would've loved Sella to take the win.

Great result from Monsalve (his best this year?). Maybe good signs for last season

A pity that just like last year with Frison, Daan Olivier is now too old for another Avenir.
So he unfortunately never will be able to wear his U23 rainbow shirt. I demand changes. We need to have a special U23 jersey no matter the race category. Pfft

Somewhat disappointing to see it come down to a sprint with a group that was too big for such a course. On the other hand nice to see one of the big guns claim the rainbow jersey. Congratulations, SN!

Also very well done on the report, roturn. You certainly made a lot of it considering the lack of attacks, eventhough there was some.

Martin with a performance slightly below expectations considering his season, but at least he tried to get up there when he missed what looked like the decisive move before Sicard, Ricco and others decided to pull them back. Simply not strong enough, which is okay as long as you try.

Clearly he missed Roche as his key lieutnant, who knows who would have been world champion if he was there Pfft

Big congratulations to all Avin, roturn and SN!

Nice to see Faiers being active in RR, he clearly showed himself as the best addition to my team before season Smile

And thanks to all reporters for their great work during Championship!

Damn, seeing Dekker and Sicard up there in the front made me dream of rainbow stripes for just a little while.

Intense report, well written, but the racing was honestly quite disappointing given the parcours, as others have noted. In the end, though, the strongest rider won. Congrats to SN!

Aah, thought Rein might have it there, but it wasn't to be.

Congrats to SN!

As Löfkvist won the B - Champion he is allowed to ride in a specially jersey, correct?

The real rainbow jersey should be white, I have tried to search around how the b-world should look like and I did found a picture SN linked to last year.

"If whoever win the B World Championship gets a jersey made for him then sure, why not."

So the B - World Champion jersey should be blue? and with those rainbow pattern.

Correct?

Cheers!

roturn
Yes.

SanCor`s Richeze had this one last season.

Yes , I know.

But the fact his teams orginal jersey was blue aswell got me a bit uncertain about if blue was the settled color! Pfft

Anyways thanks for the quick answer Smile

And an unrelated question I hope someone can answer: can I download this WC variant somewhere? I want to use this, beautiful WC scenery for climbers!

Just been added to the Stage DB, btw.
