About Vinokourov and Valverde -- I think these two quotes are worth discussing:
It's the typical time for drawing blood. Come into the DL in form, then before the first mountainstage, draw it, and ride the next day (which will be hell!) around the threshold to build up your hemo./hema. again. That is why the results are always so weird on the Ventoux-stage...
Vino also showed tendencies in that direction, but not nearly as extreme.
You're normally in best shape after a few days of rest, after the hard training/competition. The blood will rebuild itself then, but often, after a stage like today's, it will take so long to restore to 'tappable' condition, the body may not have time to restore the blood completely (after drawing it) until the start of le tour. It's also good for the recovery having a stage like today's after tapping it.
But...I may have misunderstood something. After all, I'm neither Fuentes nor Ferrari |

This is exactly correct. Poor Leipheimer. On a good note, new puerto like investigations in italy and belgium means that maybe the controls/authorities will be all over potential cheating. |

This is news from cyclingnews.com:
Alejandro Valverde surprised many viewers by constantly hanging at the back of the peloton during Thursday's Dauphiné Libéré stage and then being slowly dropped as the peloton started up Mont Ventoux. Caisse d'Epargne teammate José Vicente Garcia stayed with his captain, and the two finished last on the stage, nearly 29 minutes after the winner.
"Valverde came down with intestinal problems the previous night and he even threw up," said team leader Eusebio Unzue on hln.be. "We can only hope that he gets over it soon." Sportwereld reported that George Hincapie (Discovery) and Robert Gesink (Rabobank) have also come down with similar problems.
Caisse d'Epargne's Oscar Pereiro came in 27th, 3'55" down. "His form is not good," said Unzue. "After the Dauphiné and after the analysis of the other riders in the Tour de Suisse we will decide whether he will go to the Tour this year."
Damn...on one of the best mountains he should be sick, ive thought that we should see him attacking that day |

Dauphine and Swiss tour are in really bad situation they never gonna see 100% ride... All aces have coming TdF in mind.
We all so Vinos long TT...that was most important momentum in Dauphine for him... |

Oscar may not go to the TdF..or just Caisse mixing a water..
Caisse d'Epargne's Oscar Pereiro came in 27th, 3'55" down. "His form is not good," said Unzue. "After the Dauphiné and after the analysis of the other riders in the Tour de Suisse we will decide whether he will go to the Tour this year."

Spoke to early yesterday. Zabriskie is fifth, however only 1 second behind no.3
GC:
1. Kashechkin
2. Moreau +14
3. Menchov + 25
4. Evans +26
5. Zabriskie +26
6. Leipheimer +53
Probably gonna be between these guys. What do you think?
Think Menchov and Moreau looked good, but Kashechkin is gonna take it...
Go Chris Anker Sørensen!! |

Am I the only one noticed how tanned Vino is compared to earlier years?
I always thought that he looks like an albino |

coming from a norwegian that's quite a statement!
seriously, though, CrueTrue seems to be developing into another cynic. I think he's right on this instance, but....without proof...do not judge...or somesuch.
not until they're caught, that is
