For Aussie viewers, SBS will be streaming online from 8:50pm for people in the east. Keen to see the Gavia and the Stelvio! |

The picture seems to be taken at an angle so it's a bit of a cheap trick It's not really that steep.
If it had been, I would have to wonder why italian engineers decided to make a road that banks outwards.

I wonder where I could watch this live, or via streaming? My country doesn't support cycling that much, esp. overseas.

Today looks like it could be absolutely insane. If you have a moment get on twitter and look at some of the pictures that various cyclists and fans are posting of the climbs:

Do you think the favorites will have a so called "black day" during the last week in the mountains? In which case who? |

Personally, I can see Evans having such a day near the end, much like last year.
The most significant one is Uran, though. If he has such a day, everything is open. If he doesn't, I can see him taking Pink in the end. He loses some time on the mountain stages, but not nearly enough at this rate to lose the Giro. |

I think breakaway to win the stage. Out of the favourites hoping for Kelderman to show himself. I would not be surprised if we see successful attacks from Duarte or Pellizotti because they are not much of a danger to the top 5 at the moment and both have been quite strong on the most recent stages. Franco in particular looked strong taking 7th I believe. If he didnt work Kelderman, Evans etc would have lost a lot more time.

I think Evans will just bleed time to most of the others, but I can't see him really cracking. I think he knows his limits and will ride within those.

This. Uran is the big question mark.

Apparently Pozzovivo was ill on sunday.

“It was a bad day,” he said at the finish. “For a few days, I’ve had bronchitis. On the climbs, I couldn’t breath well and I was coughing.”

Ha! To me that climb looks awesome!!!! My legs are twitching just thinking of climbing that beast (yes I might be a little crazy)
I pick someone from a break gets its today or a late attck from someone down in the GC but don't see one of the favourites winning. Today will show who has got the balls this Giro, all Uran has to do is follow wheels but like others have stated there will be a back day in this race for him.

I am guessing the winner will be one of the following:
-Pellizotti
-Duarte
-Rolland
-Arredondo
-Cunego
-Hesjedal
