Sporza: "Sagan, we heard you're going to astana."
Sagan: "Who told you that?"
Sporza: "A reliable source."
I think it's true. Although I thought Oleg Tinkov really wanted him? |

Potentially the strongest team next year then. |

I think Mollema should stay at Belkin because he has more reliable helpers in Ten Dam and Gesink than Frank Schleck and Kiserlovski |

Ten Dam is getting older while there isnt much consistency over Gesink due to his problems. On paper, I would say Trek has the better climbinb squad with Kiserlovski, Frank Schleck and Arredondo, |

Hope you don't mind me changing the topic without real news: As NetApp-Endura is going to be Team Bora next year, the focus will be more on German riders ( ).
However, as Bora is a pretty small company, team manager Ralph Denk said that the budget will not really be increased. Furthermore, he said that about 60-70% of the team will be kept (the ones being strong, he said). I was wondering which German riders could fit into a low budget team? Any ideas?
I was thinking about the MTN-riders but they should be kinda safe there. Apart from that, we have a very limited number of Germans that are cheap but capable of something, so my second thought was that its gonna be talents which I'd really enjoy (e.g. Willwohl).

Maybe Paul Martens and Robert Wagner when Belkin disbands. I believe Stölting will want to go PCT next year IIRC, so I guess talents like Herklotz (that's you ),Bauhaus and Dieteren will stay there. But there are other good continental riders like Alexander Krieger, Daniel Klemme, Fabian Schnaidt and Willi Willwohl (and Schumacher, if you don't care about the team's reputation ). All of them still pretty young. |

Schumacher won`t happen.
Bora has a clause to disband when having a positive rider. And so far they did not even have a rider rumoured for doping, so I doubt they will sign a former banned rider.
Krieger and Willwohl would be really cool as both have shown nice talent.
Also riders like Nerz, Koch, Sütterlin even though I am not sure about their contract lengths and if they want to go down a division. |

False. Sagan's agent said to cyclingnews.com that it's false. And furthermore Sagn's agnet also said that he is going to Tinkoff-Saxo next year to the same web page.

Yeah, Stölting won't happen, they said they wanna keep the strongest riders and the other ones you can forget about.
I was thinking of Willwohl and Krieger as well and would really like that, Klemme hasn't shown enough imo for PCT and Schnaidt I think has at least one more year for Vorarlberg.
Schumacher is impossible, have read that too. Nerz is kind of too expensive I would say and Sütterlin has a contract for next year at Movistar. Koch seems like an option, indeed, because at Cannondale he isn't in a high position - on the other hand he has only shown himself as a good fighter but not winning anything.
I like the idea of Wagner and Martens, because if both were given the chance to ride for themselves, they could really win something imo (as Martens did last year in Luxembourg.) I'd also like to see what Burghardt could do in classics if he was allowed to go for it instead of helping van Avermaet, but I fear that won't happen.
Guess you see my point now: Germany kinda lacks medium-strong riders

Does Bjorn Thurau have a contract for next season, definitely someone Bora can rely on to get into the breakaways and he is fairly young. |

Actually Martens has had plenty of free roles at Belkin, especially for the ardennes classics. But he never did much with those so |

He is trying to look after his future and with no more Belkin it isn't certain that the squad would be there next year, he will get paid well and have enough support at Trek.

But it's... Trek. Why would anyone want to be team - mates with the Schlecks?

Certainly stronger than Cannondale. God, that team sucks in supporting Sagan. I like Cannondale and i was always big fan of Liquigas, but i seriously hope for a change for Sagan, or Cannondale would need to buy some riders who can actually ccompete in GT, not these jokers...
Saxo would be great obviously, but what about Tour ambitions there, Contador/Kreuziger or Sagan?

Tinkov said that next year they will have two objectives:
1.to win the tour
2.to win the green jersey |

That can easily lead to loosing both of it.

Doubt they will have to worry about Kreuziger next season.
I really don't see how they build a team around both Sagan and Contador unless one of them doesn't get full support.
