Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Looking at the CDB, Argos is the only 5 star team, and I'd be inclined to agree, they should dominate this season I think. Lots of teams are bunched on 4.5 stars and only a few left on 4, should be pretty close! |

Well, sending the right riders to the right races is a very important part as well, so don't declare them the winner yet

Not so sure personally. Apart from Martin and Kittel none of the riders are real stars.
Niemic and Gesink are good, but there are plenty of similar level riders. I can match Niemic with Brajkovic myself, and you wouldn't call him brilliant.
Gesink is better but hardly outstanding. Capable yes, but then so is Wiggins.
Porte is another step up, but behind the people like Quintana, Valverde, Contador, Froome, Nibali who will most likely be at many of the same races.
Then it's down to a number of decent riders but nothing beyond what other teams have.

Well, they may not dominate, but they're certainly the strongest team in my eyes...

Good to know people think I've turned good old Argos into world-beaters
I don't think we'll dominate though. Porte may win the odd stage race and Gesink, Niemiec may also get a couple of good finishes on the mountains and hills, but we'll be quite reliant on Martin and Kittel.
Kittel's still got a good train going to every race with him, while I think Martin could win a couple of stage-races. So doing really well isn't beyond us. |

Going through the DB in more detail and there are some interesting teams shaping up. Argos looks good in top end depth, AG2R looks good with some youths, Quickstep stupid sprint depth... Still working across more teams but it will be interesting to see how the season unfolds.
Equally interesting will be how the classic .2 races go with a top class field, and how people plan the season.
Thanks for the planners already sent in though

Something that striked me as well, some teams having 35+ riders
But well, that all will be reduced after the planner ofc

You can do that.... would be an odd choice but nothing against it

I would've taken him in
Planning takes a while, I'm probably overcomplicating things

If it helps it took me about 2 hours, but then i planned it twice cause i cocked up the first time round and had riders in the wrong races.
Good Tip: Plan by race, not by rider. Fill the race than move on to the next one. Rather than fill the rider first.
I start with the one-days, then the stage races i can win. Then work it down to the races i can't really compete in to finish off.
Took me an hour or so and i'm happy with the result

Would've been nice if I could've gotten Willem Brouwer over for 75% of my budget
Thanks for the advice TMM

Pretty much finished now, just some small changes maybe. With 30 riders, my 2 youngsters won't get any race days, they're going to my continental development team
I was rather amazed at how easy it was to do Quintana, Valverde and Costa. They divided the races between them nicely, so yeah, fear team Movistar
