What does the little key in front of some races mean?
Was expecting Romero to do better in Europe

Looks like the guys had a tough time of it in Poland , although Pinkham winning the Mountains Classification was a highlight |

*kadtagenero - Key? You already said the meaning... key races
Too strong competition for Romero..
*sutty68 - Yes, hard race but we tried our best and managed to win something. Our 2nd group isn´t so strong and this makes things even harder for us. This will change next season.

No, you didn't loose me as follower. I know how bad feeling is when you get 100/200 views per report and not a single comment, but i am too busy. I am going to comment more often, be sure.

Good luck for California! Acevedo can do something here, he's definitely a contender for a Top-5. Won't be as "easy" as the latest races he had, but also not impossible.

Also saw your comment in valverde's story. I'm still following though I have missed a few races now in commenting. I try to comment every now and then in every story I follow but sometimes it gets forgotten
Good luck in the US of A! |

Nice to see multiple guys doing very well for J.H.B as of late (Jacques-Maynes, Acevedo).
Would be fantastic to Acevedo on the podium against the likes of Horner. That would really make it a great season for a team such as J.H.B.
However, I doubt that Acevedo will be putting minutes into the opposition in California like he has been doing recently.

To all:
It´s just strange that some of you stop to comment here(but do it in other stories), so that leaves me thinking what i´m doing wrong here, it´s not that i´m only depending from your comments but it really helps to have some after having all this work.. thanks to all of you who are still here.
*admirschleck - Glad to know you still with Jamis , no worries.
*tsmoha - Thank you, i really hope to have more hard competition here but i´m affraid we already won overall after stage 1.
*Ian Butler - No problem, i´m sure you know how it is... thanks for passing by.
*The Rider - Thank you. I guess you are correct about Acevedo but he´s not the only one in the team capable of giving minutes to Horner or someone else.. we have ....... M.Cooke

There we go... our main race for this season, we hope to achieve sponsor goal.... at least.
M.Cooke is the first to attack.. he will later on wait for J.P.McCarty(BPC) and mexican champion L.Davila(JBC)..
Starting the climb for 2nd kom sprint, with Davila droped, this duo manage to create an amazing gap..
In peloton, J.Acevedo takes the lead and starts to push hard..
When the right time comes, Acevedo attacks... inside peloton there is a fall... our G.Varela has to give up,..
At the front, after the kom sprint, M.Cooke attacks with no response from McCarty...
After Acevedo´s attack, P.Gilbert(BMC), M.Moser(CAN) and J.Tschopp(IAM) try to catch up with him...
Long descent, Gilbert takes some risks to regroup with Acevedo.. 44kms to go, 5´25"gap to escapees..
After they were caught by the reduced peloton, J.Acevedo takes the lead once more before 3rd kom sprint..
He gets away from the pack at kom sprint, behind, B.Mollema(BEL) tries to jump away too..
..but both riders can´t get far as Radioshack bring them back again.. McCarty is reeled in too, Cooke is still at the front with 4´52"gap and 22kms to go..
M.Cooke is giving all to stay at the front, it seems he even got forgotten by peloton...
Cooke is already in Escondido, 2,5kms away from his biggest win ever...
And he takes it.. M.Cooke wins 1st stage and probably already overall... what a stage.
Stage Top10
General Classification
Teams
Amazing... this is something we didn´t ever thought would happen.. it really seemed peloton had completly forgotten Cooke as the teams were only worried with Acevedo... i think when they reeled McCarty in, they have thought he would be the last one... neverless, it was an amazing race for me too..

*Selwink - Thanks.. we will try, maybe this will bring more action and same time Acevedo has more room to play..
*sutty68 - Thank you mate, amazing stage from Cooke. I know i can count with you..
*kadtagenero - yes, and there´s where we will loose our lead or Acevedo will smash his opponents..
*TheManxMissile - its your call ..

Even though i like to see JHS winning here, i've never been a fan of this PCM-bug to allowed such a huge gap on opening day Anyway, we may see a more aggressive race now, the big guns have to attack Cooke wherever possible. Some nice screens, mate. And don't get me wrong, i'm of course cheering for your success
