Also good to see Costa riding well in a GT so far.
It's a first moutain stage, so he should be going alright. He'll fade in 3rd week, still he's a super rider to have in a team.
I'm more amazed because he said yesterday he was suffering pretty bad from his 2nd crash
I'm interested in how Kreuziger will do in this race with no leadership pressure vs other races with pressure.
Pinot as usual struggling on descents. Tsc tsc.

Quintana has lost about 15 Seconds so far.

Pinot makes Frank Schleck look like a good descender...

Way off the back with Roche

No, he was still there on the top, he's been dropped on the descent. Horrible descender apparently, and/or technical difficulties. |

Roche seemed to be descending well and took over from Pinot. He seemed to only be a couple of corners behind, so I think he will probably get back, particularly as the descent flattens a fair bit towards the end.

Mollema not really looking good. Ten Dam will probably fade in the 3rd week as always. No dutch hope this year |

Remember stage 2 when FDJ thinned the field on the climb so Pinot could descend more easily?
No need to do that anymore, his GC is done

According to Martins, 'Peter Froome' won't last much longer on the front
And how the heck is Rolland still out front?

Just look, he looks like Wiggo did in the Giro, and Pinot is on dry roads. |
