Platvoet is doing awsome in TDU with his great hill stat and sprint. Even at the age of 23.

No 85s possible in my DB (82 is max), so I am very happy to have this talent from Kazachstan at the Astana team:
Should be a good GT contender in the future! |

He's good. And what about his potential? Or you can't see it yet?

Downhill trains automatically. But it develops over the years, you don't have influence on it.

Some very nice talents in this thread. I'm afraid mine can't quite compete with them but I'm very happy with two riders in particular (Panduro, Mitrofanov):
He is 4 years now with Saxo Bank (now Volkswagen). Developed quite nice. Obviously at age of 22 there is still some potential left although training with a world-class trainer for 4 years. He did two Grand Tours already and was a quite good helper. Oddly enough, each time I win a time trial he is the one who gets the win.
I consider him my Jack-Of-All-Trades. He is a great domestique nearly everywhere. However there is not much potential left, so I doubt he will ever be a team captain. Maybe a protected rider. He snatched a surprise 2nd place at the UCI World Championship in Doha, however the competition was... weak at best. (3rd season now)
Terente has awesome stats in Hill, but is lacking in many other. He still needs time, however I'm not sure if I keep him. He already demands 11.000/month and he hasn't delivered anything yet at minor races. (in his 2nd season now)
Probably an incoming sprint superstar. Already 80 at age 24, he might end up with 82-84. So far he hasn't won much. There is a lot of training to be done, plus I often use him as a domestique for the sprint train so far. He took a stage win at Santos Tour last year though. (2nd season now)
I also have a question: How does sponsoring a young rider affect their development? Will they only sign for your team at a later date or are they still open to other teams? How long are young riders in the talent search saved? I noticed that my danish talents disappeared, is it because they are over 23 now?
I'm right now scouting Germany for promising youngsters as to make my sponsor satisfied. In case any is worth the trouble I'll post them of course there. I have a good feeling about 2-3 guys. The german young riders I signed so far are basically all not worth the hassle.
