That was a great finish. Slagter was the most comfortable out there and really could have beat Gerrans in the sprint.

Great irony. Rabobank pulls out the plug, not only because of doping but partly also because they always get criticized that their talents don't deliver. Then the follow-up team wins the first WT race of the year with a 23 dutchman from their own youth program.

Kudos to organizers. Couple of years ago this will glorified race for sprinters and in few years they actually made it a very exciting race with the chosen routes.
