Sutton still going good, though
Yeah, but it'll be hard, to get a better place, maybe a top 3.

Desperate for an attack, right?

Thank you!
I'll have less time for the reports in the next days, because of school starting, but I'll try to get a stage tomorrow up.

Tirreno - Adriatico Stage 3
Another flat stage here in Italy, and the sprinters are happy to take the chance. Expect their teams to chase. Orica, Sky and Lotto are surely the ones, that will chase.
The BotD formed right after the start containing famuos names like, Démare or Terpstra.
At the peleton BMC realized the danger, and kept the gap close and then
Sky and GreenEdge took over.
However, they weren't too agressive, and the trains already formed, just as the pack caught the break. Our train was advancing on the right side and GreenEdge ruled the left hand for Goss. At 4kms another train formed, as Sky decided to leadout Cavendish, the best sprinter on paper.
Right before the 1km mark, you can see Bahr going from left, but it's Goss who is in the lead. Cav is also in a good position, but Rojas is there too. Who will in it?
And Matty Goss takes the stage! He was the strongest of the sprinters! Thor comes 2nd and Rojas takes 3rd. Bahr can't come strong enough and gets 9th, while Cav fades to the 11th (!) position.

Thanks for your comments sutty, it's really pleasuring to see you following, as it looks like that it's only you and Ian are the ones following this story. Well, I hope if I keep thsi running fine, then I'll get some more comments.
btw. if there's anything you want to know about a rider, tell me, and you will get a summary of what's going around him. Now let's get to racing.
A tailor-made stage for the break is up today, but if the sprinters survive, the chase will surely be hard in the pack.
The stage was kicking off slowly, and the actions were also coming quite slow. After around 40kms, the break formed, with the biggest names being Taramaae, Roche and Fuglsang. The pace in the pack was quite slow, and the break got quickly a 7' lead.
The stage was a really slow, but from 50kms the gap started to get narrower and narrower. With 20km to go the gap was around 2mins. Can the pack catch the BotD?
While the pack was chasing, the worser TTers/roulers started to put in some strong attacks, but they were all reeled in.
But what's happening back in the pack, the SpiderTech train got away from the pack! What a nice effort by Yoshinabe and Pye!
While chasing our train, Rabo rider, (guess who) Gesink falls! He brings down Froome and Albasini with him! What a shame for them! We can only hope it wasn't too serious and won't affect their preparations for their main event.
In the front it was getting tighter by every seconds and (our riders got caught by Rabobank ) , and it wasn't looking good for the break? Can they hold on, and if yes, who will be the winner?
At the 1km mark Roy created a bit of a gap to the rest of the companions! He is flying to victory, but the pack led by Boonen catches up fastly!
And Roy wins stage 7! What a great effort by him! He holds off the others, but gets no gap from the peleton. Boonen comes 10th, and secures his lead in the points competition.

No real big changes, some dropouts from the top 20.
What a great stage was today! The final kms were really tough with loads of actions, and some drama! It's nice to see these kind of interesting moments!
Yoshinabe - 1 terrific effort to force a split, but unfortunately we couldn't get the thing we wanted
Pye - 1 same as Yoshinabe |

You can first see him in the Giro del Trentino and in Romandie, where he'll get up some form to ride the Giro D'Italia! After the Giro he takes a long break and gets back in the Eneco Tour and help in La Vuelta. Sorry for the lack of smaller races, but the 2GTs tire him out fast! I hope this is not a big problem for you!
He is currently very happy to train with the Giro squad in Italy, and can't wait to get into action! According to his trainers, he showed some nice form, gets out well with his teammates. |

It's not the problem, but he will have problems to finish both of them, especially Vuelta, so I hoped to see him in more races like Eneco but we will see what he can do in Giro |
