Gahh hope not. I'll have a lot of lost interest now if that's true. Bullshit.
isnt there any lesser punishment? - relegation seems to me a little bit much. |

Definitely a fine relegation. Goss was clearly out of line. |

congrats Avin Wargunnson you won a green already..how it tastes.
Sagan is nice guy and rider..but when he wins he's green likes this (protesting not sprinting). Then rescpect against him go's down as it was against Hushovd years ago (he ofcorse made it all back..and I was he's fan when he was wearing yellow at the tour 2011) |

I personally hope since there is a 1sec time gap that Sagan and Goss basically just switch positions. I feel that is deserved as Sagan probably would have won the sprint anyway.

Wiggins says he was hit with a flare by a fan on that last climb at 25km to go. Spectator was running alongside.

It's difficult to keep sprinting when the guy in front of you almost makes you fall. The relegation is just fine and deserved.

Sagan had every right to protest. To use the football analogy if Sagan's through on goal and Goss takes him out inside the box then it's a penalty and a sending off, which is more or less exactly what has happened here.
It is a shame for the green jersey competition admittedly that Goss will be relegated all the way to the back. It would be better if they just swapped places, however the rules are the rules. |

Looks like Goss and Sagan just switch places. At least according to the Tour's website.

Well that's false. But football analogie's never work.
It was a 50/50 chance, and it went Sagan's way, mainly because of the protest by Sagan, imo.

Yeah, i am just trolling a bit, but it is hard to say something, because i am called biased immediately. I think if the battle for green will be over, Gossy can only blame himself, because he is also not naive and he knew what he was doing and what is the punishment for this.
Sorry for the word stupid, but you started to throw the strong words first.

This would be fair. It was intentional from Goss, but i would like to see the battle continue, because nobody will be able to say that this was the moment that decided it (if there will not be 2 points difference in the end)

The 1 second time gap (if it stays) might mean they have a get out to keep green mildly intetesting (it will still be Sagan of course) as relegation would mean just one place if seperate groups as mentioned above? |
