Pretty dull Tirreno.... 25 riders within 16 seconds, the race being won because of bonus seconds, no decisive stages... Could be the Volta a Catalunya
But baia, you did a good job, with the KOTM-jersey and 7th in the GC!

It's because that variant is way too easy. No stages where gaps can appear.
And agreed - nice job baia!

Thank you dienblad, Pellizotti2, TomC and sutty68
Indeed strange and somehow boring Tirreno ... we tried to do something good here, UnitedHealthCare is happy...

Wow after seeing the startlist I thought there was no way Sky was going to lose with Cavendish, Farrar, and EBH ...
Not much more UHC could have done

Two questions:
Shall i change race dificulty from extreme to hard?
You think as it is now are the results realistic or in Hard will be more?

I think they're fairly realistic but as always it is up to you, if you think it's to easy then switch to extreme, if not then just keep it because the results are quite realistic

To be honest I think the story would be more interesting on hard difficulty. It's usually a nicer read when the team can actually fight for some wins. And, well, that doesn't seem to be the case very much at the moment.

Alright, stage 2 was in extreme( report will follow next) but will change to Hard from stage 3... we will see then if it stays in Hard or i come back to Extreme...
Thanks for you opinion
I´ve always played in Extreme, with small teams, this can be really frustrating sometimes when your rider is with 95 fitness and can´t even follow weaker riders...let´s try HARD then..

STAGE 2
1st Int.sprint.... 10 riders form the break and they lead with 4´30"gap...
K.Carlström will try to gain some more kom pts...
94kms.... peloton reach 2nd climb... escapees are 7´29" away... we send
M.Vazquez to the front with the intention to break the pack...
49kms... 2nd Int.sprint... escapees still with one good gap, 3´59"....
20kms... M.Sieberg leads but will get caught by peloton..
5kms... with all fugitives caught, we will have a mass sprint finish...
Final sprint starts... P.Velits is in good position..
D.Bennati wins this stage... good result for Velits..

STAGE 3
Queen stage from this year´s Volta a Catalunya, we will witness a new leader change... K.Carlström will fight for any kom points he can get...
Going up in 1st climb, escapees lead with 2´50"gap...
99kms... 2nd climb... peloton is 8´27" behind breakaway....
D.Zabriskie attacked and has 59" to peloton....
49kms.... Zabriskie joins Wilson, droped by breakaway group... peloton is 2´39" behind and the break is 2´04"...
5kms to 3rd climb, 20kms to go... Radioschack and BMC did one great job with the chase... Zabriskie managed to join up with the break but they are only "47 ahead...
Now this is imo too much... this guy was with the break since the start and he can still attack with such stats... .. strange..
5kms.... no breaks... C.Evans and P.Velits get out from peloton....
M.Bruseghin tries to close the gap...
3,8kms to go... Evans attacks again... Velits responds...
2,2kms... Evans gets extra motivation.... Velits can´t follow...
C.Evans leads in the last km... C.Horner attacked and comes behind...
P.Stetina and P.Velits follow.....
With no need to sprint, C.Evans wins the stage and takes overall....
STAGE RESULT
GENERAL CLASSIFICATION
KING OF MOUNTAINS
Seems K.Carlström hard work during this stage wasn´t enought... he will try next stage in the only KOM sprint there is..

Very good Tirreno for UHC, bud bad MSR, it seems like manager of UHC is not the king of season planning
I think hard is more realistic with smaller teams,as we can see on good but not overwhelming Velits result in Catalunya.
