Ponzi climbing better than Cataldo, that's both surprising, and kind of amusingly pointless. We all know he's going to keep losing minutes every mountain stage and time trial stage to come. Still, nice to see him attacking!

Fairly spectacular time gaps there, brilliant display by Sella. Got to give Ricco credit for hanging in there and keeping hold of Pink. It'll be interesting to see what the time gaps against the clock will be, wild guess is that Sella can take another 15 to 20 seconds out of Ricco.
Plenty of GC interest all over the place and still plenty of tough stages to come, and the pack must be thinning down now. Any stragglers will have to watch the 'flat' rated stage 17, I have observed that the time cut is pretty brutal on stages like that.

Arroyo vs Kohl for 9th a battle for the ages (and 18 points)

Great race so far and great reports, very entertaining read. I wonder if Sella will come even closer in the next stages.

Ricco seems out of energy. The podium is secured i think, which is the obvious goal. Don't think he will be able to hang on for the GC.

Nice! And 5th place should be easy to keep, especially with that last time trial. Just hope he doesn't crash.

Machado is still in the top-10 and attacking. Can't ask for more. Too bad he keeps losing time on his closest rivals.
And I don't think I've said it yet but the reports are incredibly well written and very exciting to read. Great job CountArach

Hopefully over the next couple of stages, we can see Ricco and Schleck renew their early race alliance to attack together and gain time on the rest!

Decent performance from Pozzo - think he should have done a little better though.
With Amador winning (partly due to a good TT stat I would guess) Sella really overperformed and Ricco was a bit lacklustre. Can't see why he'd be tiring with the resistance and recovery stats he has. |

It's being tired or having bad form of the day for the last 3 stages, worse form then Sella atleast. While i did expect him to lose time to Sella in the mountains, i never imagined it to be so much, seeing as Sella only has 1 point more in MO and like 2-3 (?) in RES, which are the most important stats for climbing in PCM.
If Ricco does decent in the hills, then it might just have been bad daily form, we'll see.

Even if I have lost everything in this race I still have to send a cudous to the game reporter. This is top quality stuff...
And that is me, out of this again...

Oh, 2nd place is great result for sure, but.. well, Amador is in great shape right now. Hopefully, Henao can keep his 6th place with two hilly stages coming now, at least..

Just noticed that i hadn't said it yet, but like everyone else, i share their opinion. Really top notch reports, great to read. What i find really nice (and it might sound stupid), is the little review you do after the end of every stage, stating some changes, etc ...
Anyways, keep up the really nice work!

Nice to see Zeits being active in the breakaway. And Ricco gaining 20 bonus seconds on Sella was great for him, I don't think Sella will take much time on him on Finestre/Sestriere, at least he will need to get away on Finestre then.
But this is a great Giro whatever happens on the 4 last stages, great reporting, CountArach! |

Wonder what Ginanni's excuse is then, eh?
Good to see Pozzo still attacking and being strong.
In previous versions it was always a bit lame to see riders winning from the front like that. No probs with this version though - big display of power there from Ricco.
And, I'll add one more voice to the great reports, Count! Know how much work goes into doing them, so congrats on making them so readable. |

Great, this is really what Ricco needed, really hope he can hold it on those 2 final mountain summits.
