Green Jersey Competition down to 4 riders i think:
1. ROJAS Jose Joaquin 88 MOVISTAR TEAM 167 pts
2. GILBERT Philippe 32 OMEGA PHARMA - LOTTO 156 pts
3. CAVENDISH Mark 171 HTC - HIGHROAD 150 pts
4. HUSHOVD Thor 51 TEAM GARMIN - CERVELO 130 pts |

What happened with Rojas? I would expect a little more of him than a 9th (?) within such a concurrence... I mean, he should be able to finish in front of Turgot or Bonnet, shouldn't he?
Its possible that the intermediate sprint, so close the finish today, tired him out a bit, but he's still only a consistent Top 5 finisher to begin with.

And Rojas is better in the hillier stages rather than dead flat ones

yeah, the green contest will be played in the intermediate sprints though tomorrow.
Generally the sprints are before climbs, sprinters will mop them up.

But do you think that the Peleton will chase down the break before the sprint?

If you're asking doddy specifically, then sorry. I personally feel they wont chase them down, but the peloton will make sure its a small break so that there are still lots of points left to take for the sprinters.

Interesting. The post stage interviews on Eurosport.
The word "respect" is coming up quite a lot! One guy that posts on another forum that I read (not cycling related in any way) once wrote something like "respect" is used here and there, so much that it loses its actual meaning.
It's only got its actual meaning when you mention who or what is respected, or disrespected.
From that viewpoint, what or who is not respected by Cavendish, or by any Katusha's rider trying to get into HTC's sprint train ?
That becomes even more unclear...

Agree.
And if my auntie had balls, I'd call her my uncle.
Have that sprint 10 times again, with the same riders in the same positions with 300 m to go, you'll get a different result the 10 times.
So, "for sure" is... excessive ? Greipel might have won it, but that's about it.

Hushovd won't fight for the green jersey.

Nope, they will just pick up and remaining points, like it's been all week.

It was ironic.
I expected that Cancellara repeated the "neutralized" stage just like last year when Andy fall down... When Chavanel won in Spa I think.
Instead of that... they pushed.
@janibrajkovic Where is the hero, who is gonna neutralize the race, now? Hypocrates |

The hypocrisy of the Schleck gang is well known. It took less than 24h to show it after the Spa-gate.

Sucks for Wiggo and Sky. Hope Uran goes for the KOM instead of trying to be their leader now. |
