Hincapie leg doesn't look at thier best.
His leg has looked like that for a long time. Here is a picture from 2007.

I still don't see Evans and Thomas being there in the sprint. Atleast not winning. Top 20 is possible if they are well positioned. Gilbert is an option, but it all comes down to how fast they ride up the last hill. No doubt that Garmin and HTC will want to catch the break before the hill and go up at a steadier pace to allow Farrar and Cavendish to survive the hill. Thomas came fifth today, so on a harder stage he should be expecting even better....
The last kilometre today was harder than tomorrow. He doesn't have the topspeed to beat the sprinters on a flat finish.
The final kilometre is easier tomorrow, but what comes before it may be harder. Im hoping Sky manage to pull off a Thomas/Hagen/Swift combination tomorrow though, so dont expect Thomas to be right up there individually.
I know, the part leading up to the final k is harder. But it's possible that Cav and Farrar can survive that hill, but it depends on how fast they ride up. Teams like Sky and Movistar should really be trying to make it hard to eliminate Cav, Farrer, Greipel etc.. But if Cav and Farrer are at the front after the hill I see no reason why they shouldn't be the favourites.

Yes they are. Apparently it's an Arteriovenous malformation.

Has Hagen won the Tour yet?
No?
I'll be back in a year to check

Thomas 5th? What the hell.
He lead out Cavendish watch the replay it's incredible way to show which team he is riding for next year
Cav was behind like 20th then Thomas rode him near enough to the last 200m to go
Thomas was riding for his own placement. Not because him and Cav likes to cuddle at night.
Had a closer look tonight and you were right though with 500m to go it looked like that was the case i went to 1km to go and thomas cut up martin who was in front of cav and he just followed thomas instead. |

Hushovd says he has been aiming for tomorrows stage. Look out for Omega Pharma and Garmin driving fast in the hills all over the stage.

It happens from blood vessels/valves not working right and having blood pool. I take it this picture is right after the stage> |

So looking at the stage tomorrow, could it be a battle between Gilbert, Rojas, Hushovd, Thomas and Evans?
Tomorrow should be all sprinters. The last kilometre is only rising by 1.4%, not enough for Gilbert, Thomas and Evans. Hushovd will probably do the lead-out for Farrar tomorrow.
But the two kilometres before the last kilometres has an average of 4,4%. That will probably sort out a couple of the sprinters, making it a battle between strong sprinters and "hilly riders."
And the last ~60 kilometres of the stage is pretty hilly too.
I'm sorry, I was looking at the map for today by a mistake.

If you were looking at yesterdays map, then why so quick to rule out Thomas and Evans? 5th and 11th on the stage...
If you think today is pretty much similar then it would be a bad choice to rule them out.
