Hagen to win, or a late attacker like Voeckler.
The hardest km is 9,6% average. Overall easy climb though.

No it isn't Il Grillo, that's only what the official ASO profile tells you. But they have it wrong.
The profiles on other sites like cyclingcols.com, starting adn finishing on the same point, tell it's 4/5/6 procent constantly, with a flat part near the top.

Nasty crash for Nicolas Roche. Looks like the end of his Dauphine.
EDIT: He's back on the bike though, but it looks bad.

Eurosport just says Gesink was dropped. Not sure I really believe them, when they also just said that Stephen Roche just crashed
Edit: But the pictures prove it!

How long to go? Cyclingnews "new" live report system sucks.

Still a very big group. The pace is slow and the climb is relatively easy

A long slog with no changes of rthythm. Perfect for Wiggins to do well.

Kern for the win I guess, Voeckler is riding brilliantly behind, to slow down all the other attacks. |
