Rujano, why did you fail for these 5 years? Excellent result for him. |

At least Le Mevel is in the "peloton"
I hope we will have a All vs Contador (Cancellara-like) in the rest of the giro...
So, when Contador attacks, what will "all" do? They can only sit back and watch.
There aren't only uphill finish stages if ever Contador gets a mechanical problem on a flat stage, or lads of attacks by the other GC contenders on hilly stages...
there are too many uphill finishes, you know
Let me some hope
This will be the most boring Giro ever...
I know

I can't believe they all decided to let Contador go.
Yes, because they just went: "Shall we chase him? Nah, he's only won Tour a couple of times."
Well you would think there would be a little more desperation considering once Contador gets a lead in GC he is impossible to bring back. Maybe they are all happy to go for top 3, or wait until next week.
Or, the most likely explanation - they physically can't.
Or that they had small amounts of energy they didn't think were worth using 7km's out. No one had exactly cracked, Nibali and Kreuziger have been going off the front. |

well, barring disaster I think we know the Giro winner.
But there's still 2 weeks to go, stuff can happen.

Curious to see what Sivtsov does in the rest of the race. Looked strong today. Better than who was supposed to be the team leader. |

Stunning stage from Dupont too. Didn't expect to see him in the top-10.
@ siwi - so is Nuyens, and etc.

Good ride for Rujano, nice to see him back. But what a "super super acceleration" by Contador - god David Harmon annoys me.

Contador is just too solid. He makes a GT boring by being a near certain winner.

It's like the Lance-era. Except for the fact that Contador shows up in other GTs from time to time. |
