Well, Gilbert deserves this win.. and in my opinion, 18th with Visconti in this race and within this strong leading group, is really good! (btw: is this 18th position shown in his season-palmares? Would be nice, to have a Amstel-result in Palmares , i'm not quite sure if Top-20 or Top-15-results are shown for one-day-races..)

Thanks...Gilbert was very strong indeed...im sure Visconti(+3) would have achieved better result if he hadn´t counter-attacked Gilbert´s first try...we payed with our few Pro-Tour races experience...

First 25 riders have a palmares in AGR. So visconti will have the 18th, by the way great result  Really impressive cycling by Gilbert.

Good ride with Pellizotti. Think Scarponi, Pozzovivo, Nibali could battle a lot in the big Giro.
Pity that the prologue didn`t worked very well for you. |
