Our selectors are on drugs. No Haussler, McEwen or Renshaw?
Surely. It's crazy don't pick Haussler...
Haussler has no problems to change nationality..so all estonian road race and TT places are open. Welcome
All aces are toasted at this point of season..and union find out that is chepaer do not send anyone to Australia then

I don't know whether Haussler is injured, but I had him as a pre-race favourite if in form. |

Btw, wasn't Cooke 'injured'?
Edit: On Sporza they said that Haussler didn't want to ride the WC.

Fair enough then, i guess i am a lot less outraged if Haussler decided himself not to go. But still feel for McEwen and Renshaw, someone still needs to be shot! |

Trust me, if McEwen were a horse he'd have been shot by now
He's done.

He could at least be used for glue.

Tragic Czech national team for the World Champs:
Elite
TT: nobody
RR: Petr Bencik, Leopold König
U23
TT: Jakub Novak
RR: nobody
And Czech national coach Jozef Regec said that he is looking for more places for his national team for the next year/s. The question is who can get these places? Kreuziger and Rabon in ProTour? Or PSK Whirpool squad with their's German leader Schulze in Europe Tour?.. This guy is complete moron. I agree with Kreuziger and Rabon that it's a good idea to ignore this guild of morons. (in fact I mean Czech cycling federation)

Steffen Kjærgård, the director de sportif of the Norwegian Cycling Federation is a dissaster. He was an OK cyclist in his time, but it seems that he don't got ANY idea of what his doing. Last year he dropped Stian Remme from the squad, the guy that was at the time the 2nd best climber in Norway. And this year he choosed Alexander Kristoff(sprinter) over Kurt-Asle Arvesen(one of the best team mates in the cycling circus). And when he tried to contact Kurt-Asle, he called him DURING the Eneco Tour Stage yesterday. That guy is a tool... Pisses me off.

I would have picked Nordhaug before I even would consider Kristoff. I will be laughing when Kristoff drops without having achieved anything for his team mates. |

Six riders from Holland are already sure of WC.
TT: Moerenhout, Van Emden
RR: Moerenhout, Van Emden, Boom, Kroon, Langeveld, Terpstra
Ten Dam, Hoogerland, de Kort, Kreder, Kruijswijk, Leezer, Maaskant, Poels and Tjallingii for the last 3 spots.

Is Moerenhout going to pull a Boogerd and race another year if he wins? |

I certainly hope so, but it's very, very unlikely to happen. |

All he has to do is say he will, and everything's complete.
You know, since Boogerd didn't do squat at the Worlds

Procycling.no claims that Cervelo and Garmin are interested in a merge of the two teams.
Jean Paul van Poppel says that he can't comment on it, because they have agreed not to talk about it currently. Thor Hushovd says that "a lot is going on currently. A lot more than you know."
The rumour is also fuelled by the fact that Cervelo hasn't applied for a Pro Tour license even though they said that they would. |
