That's not really surprising. How can a 80 kg guy ride top 10 in grand tours and win volta a catalunya and tour de suisse.

From a few rider interviews on danish TV (Lars Bak and Martin Pedersen), has said they were sceptical before the start, but there was no trouble out on the route, great lighting, well organised and a great route with no dangerous sections.
