Chicken now says he can sign with a ProTour team in the next 48 hours.
Someone should commit him.

I was clarifying for the benefit of everyone, since I didn't notice you'd posted a link, so I thought you hadn't actually said what Chicken was saying

According to L'Equipe, these teams will ride Le Tour:
Ag2r, Astana, Bbox, Caisse d’Epargne, Cofidis, HTC-Columbia, Euskaltel, Francaise des Jeux, Footon-Servetto, Lampre, Liquigas, Milram, Omega Pharma-Lottyo, Quick Step, Rabobank, Saxo Bank
... and the six wild cards go to: Team RadioShack, BMC, Sky, Cervelo, Katusha and Garmin.
Meaning no: Vacansoleil (Feillu brothers?!), Saur-Sojasun, Skil-Shimano. |

To be fair, I thought it was blatantly obvious which teams would get in as soon as January. And so it proved.
In my personal view, these teams are far above the ones that didn't get invited. And given the number of invites available, it seemed logical

Still dissapointing. All these new teams ruined Vacansoleil chances, plus the stupid Pro Tour agreemeent which makes useless teams as Milram and Footon Servetto appear |

Such a useless team Footon is, that they've won a fair amount of races this season already, and are sat in the CQ rankings above Euskaltel, BMC, Saur-Sojasun, Skil Shimano.
I quite look forward to seeing Footon ride.
