Contador scampered away from everyone on the final climb. Well done Machado, Van Garderen and Costa, all keeping up with the big boys. Machado because it's his first race as a neo-pro, Van Garderen the same, and Costa because he's no climber.
I don't think Leipheimer can take back 22 seconds in only 17kms. Contador should get the overall again this year

Only you would be offended by that.

Since what, a year, you've got something against me. Dunno what, dunno why. So yes, I am more likely to be offened by you then by someone else.
Not this time tho. I just find it a bit pathetic to mown about a typo.

Again, go back and read it again. Or buy a dictionary. Then you might get the joke. Nobody was moaning at you.

Is anyone else missing the norwegian-EBH-hyping fans like I do? Camon he's beaten Cancellara in a TT where are all of you?
Well I'll take your place than and hype out some portuguese talents:
OMFG Tiago Machado has beaten all those big guns and only came 2nd because he faded in the last km, otherwise he'd catch Contador. He'll win the TdF someday.
Rui Costa even beat his team leader! Wow he'll win the WC this year!!!!!!
and don't get me started in Manuel Cardoso...

@gustavovskiy:
what you say is bullshit...only because the top-riders aren´t in a good condition now the weaker/younger riders beating them will not all be as good as as a contador or schleck later...machado will not win the tdf and rui costa definately will not win the WC this year
and boasson hagen is THE rider for the future. everyone says it and you clearly see that from his results

My sense of irony has turned too transatlantic for some europeans I guess
EDIT: oh wait maybe it hasn't
btw Tiago Machado's declarations after the stage:
"It was a shame I didn't win. I got closed at the beggining of the climb, otherwise I would have finished with Contador and, probably, would have won. Anyway, I lost to the 2nd best in the world, because the best is Armstrong"
That surely has to generate some smiles around

Well had he admitted Contador was best he probably would lose his job
