Haha Levi Good pics for what....?
i went simply training last night, nice little chain gang, but i've been finding them a little too easy as they are about 50 minutes in length, so i went out alone before hand and tore myself to shreds first, so by the time the rest of the guys turned up i was dead beat already. But then i had a wonderful experience of having my legs ripped off All in the name of training. No pain, no gain!
I'm also doing the BUSA championships this weekend hopefully, so that'll be great fun to race against other Uni students, who train more than me...

I've just finished Peace race of youngest....on 78th place (out of 120). My best result was 70th place in TT. Winner was some Kösgard from Denmark, best czech was 3rd. I think I should really concentrate on track cycling, but I can't beacause I don't like it. |

You don't like track stuff? I think it's quite a good laugh. I don't think i'd do it instead of road stuff, but its quite fun to just get on the track every so often and do something different for once.
Well done on the results that race sounds pretty darn hard.

It's boring. It's just round and round and round.... Only thing I can do on track is ponits race and individual pursuit. I can also do well in scratch, but I didn't finish a single scratch race on czech cup in this season - beacuse I'm always desperately trying to get in the front and then I alway crash with someone.
And I add you here some pictures of czech tracks....

I just bought a Trek 2.1 C, which I am getting on saturday, and so I'm about to start riding regularly again (haven't done that for around 5-6 months). |

I tried the descending technique yesterday(sitting on the croosbar) got speed wobbles, and a big gust of wind, put me in someone yard on my head.
I lawn darted into the ground going 37 mph, let's just say im going back to a different technique

I'm riding because it's fun and id do cycle about every 2nd day... Just for fun... Today i went by train to Frederikshavn to ride the route for a race i'm going to take part in at next sunday.... The half of the route is up and down all the time... And i'm pretty big and heavy so i'll have some problems at the hills.... The route is about 47 km. and last year i raced it in 1 hour and 37 min.... Today i raced the route alone in 1 hour and 33 min. wich is 4 four min. faster... With that time i would last year end as number 7.... Last years winner raced in 1 hour and 25 min.... So i'm hoping at leats to get number 5....

The hill's around Frederikshavn??
-Sorry for my bad english ops:

They're super nice..... Especially the one at Dvergetved and the one where Tolne Bakker Camping is placed... I'm riding them tomorrow at Rødspætteløbet I'm hoping for a top five in the race.... But i'll have to do well because i'm as heavy as Magnus Bäckstedt.... |

I think Bäckstedt is heavier than 80 kilo's though, and Gærumbakken is also very hard, and very niceB)

Backstedt is 94kg. If you're that heavy when in form, something tells me you shouldn't be training for the climbs

Some of my clubmates did that; I should have warned them that it's mainly Cat 1-3 racers. They got their legs torn off... ouch
First time-trial of the summer on Thursday, and I've had a sore throat/flu symptoms for the last week. Hmm... should be interesting.

I just got home from the Tuesday Twilight Cirt Series and did 2 races as usual. For some reason I just couldn't stay in the pack in the 4/5's. I attacked the first lap and stayed away for 5 laps winning a Prime in the process. Halfway through I took another after bridging to a breakaway. 3 laps to go I was on the back and moved to the front when the pack slowed jsut a tiny bit. 2 to go I chased onto the breakaway and went straight past them. 1 lap to go a 35 MPH gust took all my momentum away going around the first corner and I got caught on half a lap to go. That race was a blast.
Then I did the 3/4's and was one the front for a bit, pulled back a break then dropped off the back. I was wiped out. I screwed around for a couple laps then as I got lapped I got back on and watched the sprint.
I won a 20$ gift certificate to a local bike shop and some fresh picked blueberries The berries are really good then I rode home totaling my bike time at 4 hours. I'm on my second sandwich and I;m still hungry.

First time-trial of the summer, 10 miles (16km).
15mph tailwind out, then headwind back. Averaged 22mph for first five, and was hanging on well with 2 miles to go. Last corner... gravel... the world goes upside down... PAIN. So, I crashed. Stood there for 5-10 seconds (felt like an age) assessing and got back on, but I had no rhythm and died into the headwind 18 seconds off my PB, and without crashing, I think I'd have beaten it...
Oh well, the hazards of cycling/being tired near the end of a TT. Went to hospital, three bandages and a local anasthetic but no stitches needed. I'll be back |

Hardcore mate! Thats the spirit! Always check the bike after a crash, then right back on to finish what you're doing! Unlucky about not beating your PB, but that will give you confidence for the next TT surely.
Wacko - Which part of the south coast? its fairly long. There is Thruxton near Andover, Portsmouth in portsmouth, and im pretty sure there are a couple to the south east of london. All of which hold circuit races for youth riders. Check out the BC website for Youth events on the calender.
