I've never seen so many successful attacks
Good story
Thanks Roman!
Yes you´re right there are many successful attacks until now.But i have to say that our team didn´t raise the speed in the pack if there´s a breakaway with no dangerous riders. We concentrate ourselves on special stages |

GIRO D´ITALIA
STAGE 15 : FORLI - FAENZA
Sorry but the game crashed before i could take the screenshots.
This stage was very discouraging for our team because no one could follow the best riders today. There were many attacks on the last climb with 20 km to go but on the downhill they were all caught by the pack so there was no change in the overall. However Cunego won the stage and could get more points there.Probably Pozzato has no chance anymore to overtake Cunego in this competition. And that means we missed our main goal for the Giro.

GIRO D´ITALIA
STAGE 16 : PERGOLA - MONTE PETRANO
Pozzato is in the breakaway today
And he can get a few points for the KOM
Because of the fast speed this group could get a little gap between the pack and theirselves
But Cunego´s group goes after them
The first serious attack today comes from Soler
On the top of the climb Basso starts an attack
It seems to be very sucessful for Basso
This is the first chasing group with Gerdemann
Soler starts another attack
What a surprise, Aerts goes after him,
but he is not the only one.Pellizotti tries his luck
Sörensen and Garzelli start a counter attack
Cunego is still in the main group with Nibali. He has to do something because Basso´s advantage becomes bigger and bigger
These are the main chasers of Basso.Pellizotti,Soler and Garzelli
Basso is on his own. It´s an one man show up to here
After a long time Cunego cannot stay in the main group anymore. He has to reduce the distance to Basso.Nibali goes after him
On the downhill Cunego and Nibali are reaching Garzelli
Nibali and Garzelli get a little gap to Cunego
10 km to go for Basso
Pellizotti attackes again at the 10 km brand.Soler cannot counter
Nibali and Garzelli reached Soler.10 km to go for them
10 km to go for Cunego
Pellizotti is very fast now.He can reduce his arrears to Basso
Nibali starts another attack.WHAT A RACE!!!
Garzelli and Soler go after Nibali
Here is Cunego; he is loosing many seconds now
Pellizotti caught up Basso
Garzelli can free himself of .....
...........Nibali and Soler
Cunego is fighting for his jersey
The sprint begins
Basso has no power remaining;great final by Pellizotti he takes the stage win in front of Basso and....
..........Garzelli
Very close sprint between Soler and Nibali but Soler has more speed on the last metres.Nibali becomes 5th
Last km for Simoni but he couldn´t play a big role today
So the question is where is Cunego???And how many seconds did he loose to Basso today?
Here comes Cunego as 6th with more than 3 minutes to Basso. That means he lost his leader jersey to Basso.Wow what a stage!!

STAGE 17 : CHIETI - BLOCKHAUS
Pozzovivo lost a lot of time in the last stage, so he tries to attack
Next attack by Garzelli
Liquigas leads the pack
Gerdemann with an attack
Scarponi goes after him
And no time to think;Soler attacks
This is the leader of the stage Masciarelli. He was in the breakaway
But there´s Garzelli already and he attacks again
Basso leaves the pack
Soler tries to go after Garzelli;he passes Masciarelli
Basso goes after them
Last km for Garzelli. It looks great for him
Soler and......
.....Basso reach the last km brand
Garzelli takes the stage win in front of.......
.......Soler and......?
.......Basso!Pellizotti becomes 4th
Again Cunego lost many seconds today

Are you happy the way your team ride the Giro? Karpets will do Tour and Vuelta or not? |

Well,what can i say?
I didn´t expect that Pozzato could reach the top 10 or top 20 in the overalls. Our main goal was the sprint jersey. But Cunego was too strong and to good in the mountains so we had no chance. All in all i can say that i´m not really happy but i´m also not very sad now.Because we could celebrate a few stage wins there with Pozzato and Mazzanti so it´s ok i think.WHAT DO YOU THINK ABOUT OUR GIRO???
And yes Karpets will do the Tour for sure.If he also will do the Vuelta i don´t know at this moment. It will be a question of his physical conditions. |

Screw Glasses, Irritating B*atch...
@Topic: I think you did very well! There are a lot of teams who didn't even win a stage! For the future you might give the guys more rest in the first stages, by not going along with the peloton on hills and mountains. Just to keep sure they don't get tired and focus on the few sprinters stage... Then you could have some guys who bring the bunch back to the escapees, because I thought it was to times, Pozzato won the sprint of the peloton but there were allready some riders in front...
Well I have to say, keep up the good work!
Waiting for Karpets tour! What will be his goal then, Top 5? And do you have sponsor goals there? Boh, lot of questions |

Well,Top 5 with Karpets.....I don´t know
We have to be more realistic because there will be a lot of great climbers like Contador,Evans,Menchov and so on.There is no sponsor goal for the Tour.So i would say in a realistic way that Karpets will attack the Top 15 and maybe the Top10?? |
