I would like Eurosport to cover more hours a day on the Giro because we are missing some of the most famous mountains. I am looking forward to the Blockhaus and Vesuivuis stages. They will be brillaint and action packed. Come on Menchov. |

Don't forget Blockhaus is shortened.

If you buy access to Eurosport Player, you can actually see coverage earlier -- but then again, you can also just watch some of the other streams |

Yeh, and right move aswell. although there is a bike race on we should respect the victims of the earthquake and not put to much pressure on the workers who are clearing the towns to clear the blockhaus of snow for a bike race. the towns come first in my opinion. |

I can't wait till next week's stages, particularly the ones on monday and wednesday. I'm so happy to have got my AS exams over with, apart from two later in June, so I can truly enjoy the Giro now
It's looking very good for Menchov, even though there's still a long way to go. It's surprising Basso lost so much time today to Menchov.

still don't forget that Basso is coming after a big-break, this is his first GT after his come-back and we all thought he will have no rival in this Giro, but we were wrong.

I do think Basso has a good chance of at least making the podium still, like Sastre. I imagine they'll both be very active in the looming mountain stages.

Excellent rides by Menchov and Levi. I don't think Di Luca can come back though. He seems wasted and I'm willing to bet his team is a bit toasty. Should be a good race between Menchov and Levi for the top spot. Advantage Levi though, much stronger team.
Basso is really disappointing. Pelizotti is strong and Sastre seems average.

I hope Levi will win! And I think he will. He haven't been much "active" the 10first stage and got much help from his team so I hope that will help him

Levi has much more probabilities to win than Menchov, because he has a better team as he is strongest on the mountains (at least is that what looks like I think).
Btw... I think Armstrong have been doing a good race till now, with is form improving each day that passes, so he might just not be a helper to Contador in Le Tour.
But its too soon to talk about that |

Levi needs to link on to someone attacking menchov. I have a hard time seeing menchov keep this form till the end. |

I dont see Levi attacking his way to the pink jersey. Some others will surely attack though and then he needs to stay on them. That would be the boring thing about Levi winning. It feels best to me then an attacking rider takes it. Menchov havent gone away so far either but it feels he been active towards finishes and hopefully he will be leading the way up some mountain later to prove he is the best this Giro.
I had Sastre to win before the Giro but im not so sure now. He seems to be strong but so far behind and such strong riders ahead of him. still the most interesting to come but it feels like the most interesting GT in a long time. Lets hope Menchov doesnt kill it on monday already |

I dont think levi's situation is dire. i think he is more fit than menchov right now and a better overall climber. dennis is a better finisher for those time bonuses though. Also, remember there is the final 14.1 km time trial. i think 15-20 second difference can be made up. If levi can just find a stage where he can gain some time.
Di luca can easily be spoiler. if dennis and levi just keep marking each other...dd won't be wasted on climbs and can just stay with them and get bonuses at the end.
just saying...still a long way from being finished. But levi's gotta gain time somewhere. |
