This is great but isnt it a bit abnormal , and just too brutal to Stjin finishing 5th at TT and he is COB and SP rider. I mean, chaning his TT stat to down (manually) would make it great. Its just not realistic and its beggining to be boring (winning everything and all). I dont know on what hardness you're playing on,but i bet its not expert. You should try it. This is just advice, its best PCM12 story, so ,i may dont even should comment it,but thats what i think.

sprinters always do well in itts
honestly I love this story and woldn't change a thing
krisa - It is, though if he wants to keep it, the team is in for 3 weeks of pain...
alex344 - That would be amazing. Don't even know if it has been done irl before
Daggen - Willy's an alien, I mean man, who can do everything!
romaniangoat - I think Stijn won't agree with the Points-thing , the competition is quite lame, but this is 2015 so some of them are not too bad. The victory is not in the pocket just yet!
MrUfo87 - That's the plan!
Jesleyh - This. although only one of them has 81 MO (kreuziger), but I will now edit some other leaders, like the Colombians, to be a bit stronger also.
PCM rulezz - Thanks a lot!!
alex344 - Machado is indeed defending champion here, with stats better than Costa.
wroblitz - Let's hope so!
Miguel98 - He's going
Jakstar22 - Thanks!
FreitasPCM - I wanted to start the Giro as soon as possible thanks!
sutty68 - The first, and hopefully the last!
admirschleck - Everyone's opinion is valued response: His TT is quite low (early 60s) and prologue is early 70s, so this 5th place was a matter of length (only 5km) and form (peaking for first flat stages here). In real life, some sprinters, like Sagan, can ride an excellent prologue, too. And so far I'm definitely not winning everything. After 4 years Stijn has not yet won the Ronde, Milan or Roubaix. Willy has not won a GT yet, though this may be the first. I'm currently playing on Hard.
wogsrus - Very true. Let's hope for a perfect finish as well
atlanta - Thanks a lot for your comment! Hope you enjoy the story!
maxime86 - Thanks for the support
Wow, thanks for the massive support! Today I'll try to do about 2 giro stages! I'm not sure when, though, I have some work to do so I'll try to fit it in today's schedule somewhere!
Stijn: A pancake flat stage, so I'm definitely in the mood the sprint for the victory! With this strong sprinting field, a top 3 would be good to start, though.
Willy: I want to enjoy the day in this jersey, keep my focus and control the race.
The Race
Willy Wouters
I don't know which one is more beautiful: this jersey or the WC ITT jersey...
The breakaway was formed fairly quickly and consisted of seven.
Today, we were in luck. BMC had a lot of faith in top sprinter Démare, while Liquigas had Cau and wanted to show its colors in their home country. Result: they controlled the race with us!
And then Stijn came to the front, with 35 kilometers left to go. We had a small chat before the speed really went up. Looking at this media snapshot, it's scary how much Stijn has build up muscles over the last few years. The difference between us is like day and night.
Stijn Van Gent
Farrar hasn't got into top shape yet so decided to lead me out, at least the first week. What a great guy!
Behind us, a fall took place. Luckily nobody was too badly hurt!
We couldn't worry about that, because the sprint was almost starting. Farrar started a wee bit early, but nothing I couldn't fix!
I came on the left side, but on the right, two Astana riders exploded out of the bunch.
Inevitable one of them took the win, I finished second. So close, but deserved.

Aftermath
Stijn: Once again, Willy's gone to rest already, as soon as he wrote up his report of the race.
I think it was a good stage. We can count on some help from some teams here, which is good. The sprint was not bad but Blythe was just better, all I can do is accept that, it's all part of cycling.
Though Willy said something remarkable to me after today's stage and after all the doping tests. He told me he wants to split us up next year for the Grand Tours. He said I deserve an entire team at my command to go 100% for the Points Jersey. I'm going to have to think about that. I see what he means, but it's a big decision, though...
Ian Butler wrote: admirschleck - Everyone's opinion is valued response: His TT is quite low (early 60s) and prologue is early 70s, so this 5th place was a matter of length (only 5km) and form (peaking for first flat stages here).
Than its okay,im following this pretty long so i thought its just not normal. Didnt see lenght , and i bet Stjin forms is great. Sorry again . Keep it up!
Jesleyh - It's incredible. Tiny Willy and Monster Stijn
admirschleck - Don't worry, everyone can speak his mind The length was crucial, it was almost 100% rated prologue, so combined with Stijn's 93 form, he could do so well!
Stijn: The finish is a bit too tough for me, too bad!
Willy: I battle for one thing only: pink. I'm prepared to work together with others if necessary. I'm willing to trade stage wins for gaining time together, but we'll see.
The Race
Stijn Van Gent
Nothing big for me today. I helped a little bit in the relay and the wheels turned round...
I managed to hang on fairly well and am still 5th after today!
Willy Wouters
Another fairly big breakaway, but I wasn't worried. More than enough teams, including us, to reel them back in.
Attacks came early today, very early! Capecchi tried breaking away.
I had some mechanical trouble and had to come back from the pack of the peloton. I didn't panic (yet), though. Farrar emptied himself to bring me back.
I passed to many team mates, I thought. And yes, when I came to the front, there was nobody there. Suddenly I was alone with my jersey, in stage 3 without any mountain in sight, how is this possible?
I countered the next attack and decided to go through with it, put everything on a line, avoid further attacks. Tomorrow's a rest day anyway!
I managed to split up the pack and with just 5 km left to go, we were gone with a little group. Near the end we started looking at each other so the peloton neared, but we made it to the finish just fine! Bakelants with, finally, his first Giro stage! Nicely done, Jan!

Aftermath
Willy: I'm not happy with the team today. I'm wearing the pink jersey and that requires some responsibility from the entire team. I was isolated way too soon in this Giro and I expect the team to get a grip and support me. I can't do this alone.
Stijn: Well this was a first. Everyone at the table this evening was really surprised. We've never seen Willy angry. He wasn't screaming or anything, but he did speak his mind. It's understandable, though. He's under a lot of stress and we let him down today. Luckily he was strong enough himself.
Today was a rest day, we moved. Tomorrow is a sprint stage, hope to do well there!
Stijn & Willy
Nice win for Bakelants. Maybe he's an option for next year? He's the type of guy that can both support Willy and be a part of Stijn's sprint train, so splitting them up would not be needed.
