You're so close now, only 19 second! Gerdemann can do it. |

La Vuelta a Espana Stage 18
Devine was in the breakaway and with the points won today it looks imposible to lost the grey jersey now
Luis Leon Sanchez made the first big attack today
Karpets was the first to go after him but not the only one
And Samuel Sanchez is surprising in front at the summit, with Karpets and Soler behind him
Then a group with Cunego, Pellizotti, Kloden, Luis Leon Sanchez and Colom
But they all got back together on the downhill
Too bad for Lovkvist that he isn't there with the big guys. He's in the chasing group with Schleck
Sanchez doesn't seem to like that he was caught on the downhill and knowing that he can be a lot faster than the others he makes an another attack
And it looks like it was the best move as he is in front on the small uphill ending the stage today
Win for Samuel Sanchez. Karpets still in gold, with the first chance to win the Vuelta now.

Ok, for overall victory, it's finish, you can't do it, but for mountain and young it's still possible. |

still even if I will lose the place in top5 or the white jersey this will be the best GT this year, which is pretty good for a guy like Lovkvist |

Vansummeren is leading for the stage win, with Gilbert and Gerdemann after him

One last move from Gerdemann, but he can't stop Vansummeren winning.

Vuelta a Espana Stage 19
Lewis was the only one that had the power to make a breakaway today
After the third climb of the day Cunego made an attack with was the end of Lewis' action. Spilak, Camano, Kreuziger, Cuesta and Devine were also with Cunego, but they couldn't go away from the pack, lead by Caisse
Pellizotti made the first attack on the last climb of the day
Soler, Samuel Sanchez and Lovkvist were after him
That prooved to be a bad move from Lovkvist as he was caught by the pack
Not the same about Soler, who is now in front leading
Karpets feels that Soler is a treat for his gold jersey and he tries to go after him by his own
Kloden and Colom are right after him
After a few moments Soler was caught by Kloden and Karpets
But Kloden isn't happy staying with them and he makes an another attack
This seems to be a serious attack from the guy who lost over 10 minutes in flat stages in this Vuelta
The pack is chasing him down, with Pellizotti, Soler and Karpets in the first positions
Kloden takes the win, at least he gets something from the race where he started as the main favourite
Karpets didn't lose too much time to his real rivals and he keeps the gold jersey, having a great chance to win the Vuelta. Yes, he seems as a good sign for us next year
Lovkvist finished the climb exhausted. He even lost the contact with the pack in the final kilometre

2. Damiano Cunego Lampre + 42
3. Franco Pellizotti Liquigas + 56

10. Carlos Barredo Quick·Step s.t.
