Nice Smile

What's Abdou up to these days? Last time a journalist tried to find him, he was trying not to be found, somewhere in Italy.

He lives in Italy indeed, lives for himself, like a vacation Smile He rides his bike sometimes, not for training, just for fun. Nikolai Trussov was his trainning companion few days ago Smile

Word in the peloton is that Vinokourov traded with Liquigas to win today's stage and not help Evans & Arroyo chase yesterday - let's see..

Going to be interesting today, Pinotti, Cunego and Sastre in the breakGrin

Smowz
Good to see some riders going for broke on the last road stage.

Seems foolish to go against the whole Liquigas team, but no point waiting now lets try and weaken the domestiques Agnoli, Szmyd and Kiserlovski.

Seems Vino is trying to fly the coop as well.

Those 3 are making things interesting certianly. Sastre's doing something similar to what he did on the Col d'Aubisue in the Tour '07. It's probably not going to work, but does he really stand a chance of making the podium otherwise?

Surprising move by Vino though.

I was saying yesterday that I hoped someone like Sastre or Vino would make a long range attack.

Nice to see it happened Smile

Just came home from my weekend loop and eurosport shows cycling, but the teletext say they'll switch to handball soon.

Great to see the Livigno area, have been there twice for rnning training camp Smile

And Great to see that some riders are really trying to shake up the race, i have been so afraid yesterday that there wont be a GC guy trying to gain time because of the strong Liquigas squad.

They also started airing earlier here - can't complain, for once Pfft

Only about 30 riders left in the Peleton after 90 km XD

Team Europcar !!

It's nice to see Sastre and Vino attacking from far away. However, even if that add some emotion, I guess this breakaway is doomed; Liquigas is too strong chasing. Even a pure climber as Garzelli was caught in a couple of minutes yesterday as soon as they decided to chase.

how many KOM points is lloyd on now? does he have enough to hold onto the jersey - assuming basso gets over the gavia first?

CrueTrue
Lloyd will probably need some points on Gavia too.

Lets hope Basso and friends save it for the finish then

I hope he does, it will make up for Evan's fail at this giro for us. Green Jersey: Lloyd, Red: Evans, White: Porte. 3/4 isn't bad.

plus a couple of stage wins, easily the most successful GT ever from an Aussie perspective....Cadel always finds a way to spoil it, doesn't he?

CrueTrue
A shame about the weather - not that much live video.

I like Lloyd as a rider. However, the king of the mountain jersey is kind of a joke. There are at least 30 better climbers than him racing the Giro.

Vino punctures and goes back to Maglia Rosa. He looked a tad upset...

Or was that old pictures?
