Will Scarponi's result (assuming he gets at least 2nd) make sure Androni is auto invited to next year's Tour? Sella in the TDF then |

Tour de France
I believe he's talking about this. From Jonathan Vaughters twitter.
"As per the agreement of Sept. '08 between ASO and UCI, if Scarponi gets 1st or 2nd, Diquigiovanni is guaranteed a start in the TdF."
Also, Androni are automatically in the Giro due to winning the season-long Italian competition. |

From the last articles I read (dated 1st October), it's still 18 Pro Teams (Pro Tour teams) + 4 invitations in all the three Grand Tours for next year.
Then as you said, the team winning the Italian cup gets automatically invited to the Giro.
I very much doubt Androni are automatically getting invited to the Tour de France.
I might be wrong though, it wouldn't be the first time. |

It looks nice. But especially with Sanchez and Nieve they should have done more to reach the 2 in front. It was possible in the beginning of the flat part. |
