EDIT: Funny thing Contador winning the Giro even though apparently he isn't on top shape. I hope there's a lot of more exciting competition in the Tour with the Schleck brothers, Cunego, Ricco, Menchov, Evans (knee problems), and hopefully some new face to bright the scene, because otherwise, it will be boring seeing a man winning it all.
Will Ricco ride the tour? Hope that Cunego can win the Tour this year. Maybee Valverde can do something or one of the Team Highroad guys Kirchen got a good placement and Rogers sat with Rasmussen on the stage Rasmussen got the time and would maybe been in the top if he had not fallen. |

I really don't think that Astana will be in the TdF this year.. ASO will punish them for last years doping scandal with Vino and Kascheckin ..
The official reason why Astana got a wild-card to the Giro afterall was because the promised that they'll let their strongest riders ride the giro and not a B-team (reserve team) .. |

Ricco will be winner tomorrow. Contador isn´t good on flat TT. Maybe Bruseghin...

it made me shake my head in disbelief. a lot of people seem to be completely oblivious to the fact that in a 20km TT Contador is one of the world's best (yes, a flat one). the TT is 30 kms long, not 20, but still. It won't shock me in the slightest to see him win tomorrow.
Riccò will be lucky to keep his second place |

I hope that Bruseghin will feal great tomorrow..and will beat Ricco. Contador is clear winner..he was ok TT guy one year back. But now he has been stunning...like you sayd one of the best.
I'm already worried that future specialy TdF gonna look like Contador and other riders. |

I'm not sure Contador has improved at all. when has he shown improvement on previous years?
Most people jump at the chance to name the TT at the Basque country. A TT that had two major climbs, included 15% sections. Contador won a flat time trial at that same race years before.
so, again, I don't see improvement. I see a guy that was already very good last year. |

I think Riccò will be lucky to keep his podium place. I think he looked tired today, like he have lost his extra power, he usually get when he can smell the top. I could see Bruseghin and Menchov take couple of minutes on him tomorrow |

Contador is in principle a time trial specialist. He always was. People started to see him as climber suddenly because of the Tour last year and somehow think he can't TT or is not good in flat tt's.
It's hilarious how bad people are informed sometimes, even though they follow the sport...
Anyway I wish Contador had put that banana he was eating into Ricco's way to big mouth. Then Contador would be my new hero forever |

Well i guess i'm the only one but i think that ricco deserves to hold onto a podium or his 2nd place just through the way he's ridden this tour. Discounting his comments in the press
