Argos and GC, don't think they should even get involved. I'd be better if they just concentrated on their main strengths, like Orica. |

Is it both Hoelgaard's? Thought only Daniel was going there. Markus said he was going to wait for going abroad after he'd finished school.
They both signed Tuesday last week, yes. |

MTN don't have the best team, but it's a nice start for their project as a Pro-Conti team. |

May be not the best team, but it's pretty good, though.
They could get some nice results! |

It's official now that Carlos Verona is moving up to the main OPQS team, not the Continental development team.

Peterson is a ''new addition'' previously not know I believe. ARgos said they were looking for an American GC rider. Not sure if they found the ''GC'' rider they were looking for in him, but a decent rider.
Peterson would be a decently valuable climbing domestique...you know, if Argos has any GC threats...
He's still a decent rider for breakaway stages and I think that's their aim. |

Christina Watches - Onfone says they have signed a major Classics-winner
Loosely translated:
We have made a scoop for the coming season and signed with a rider, who have won one of the biggest classics in cycling. Not just a race like Harelbeke or something like that. It is one of the major ones, like Ronde van Vlaanderen, Liege-Bastogne-Liege, Paris-Roubaic or similar.
Wonder who that is?
I can think of three free agents, who have won a BIG classic and are not retiring
Di Luca...
Sergey Ivanov (Amstel 2009)?
Bertagnillo (Cl San Sebastian 2007)?

Ivanov and Bertagnolli have both retired, so I doubt it's either of them.

If it was Di Luca, they would say they signed a GT winner, no? |

I doubt he'd sign for a team like Christina Watches, but either it's him or Rebellin didn't sign for CCC after all.

Interestingly, I've been stalking back through his tweets...
A week ago he was complaining about trying to sort things out:
"Things are taking way to long to sort out at the moment. #frustrated"
Then the day after he confirmed that he wasn't staying at UK Youth:
"@hwalmond No i'm not. No new plans yet, hope to have something sorted soon."
A few days ago he still had nothing:
"@elitecyclinguk no plans yet mate, still trying to sort some things out. I dive like a cork and swim like a stone man. 400m is a long way "
He says that he didn't have anything sorted out throughout the last week. A wilfull mind might want to combine that with the suddenness of Christina Watches' press release, where they seem to imply that things happened quickly and without a lot of planning.
Or they signed Di Luca

But Di Luca is a GT winner. To announce him like that they'd have to be id........ok I see your point.
