oooh... that tough race that compares to the giro in every way
You didn't get the point. There were a list of good results from the beggining of the season and it was clear that his form can't mantain all over the season. His schedule was the problem.
Ok Cadel can follow or wheelsuck in easier mountain stages, but cmon it's Zoncolan and Mortirolo. You need to rememeber that Cadel isn't best climber in peloton and there is pure climbers. And 2ndly: he has been in top shape since end of April, you cant hold same form so long. If i would be you, i would be happy whit results he had managed in this no-TT's giro. |

Ever thought of this? He is not strong enough to be good for 3 weeks. He always fails in the 3rd week.
Some people are very good riders, but will never win a GT. Simple as that
this made me lol
on-topic nice stage but it is a shame that Arroyo didn't get much help of the others although Basso deserves to wear the pink. |

Cadel:
"Ivan has been consistent and a little bit better than me in the second half of the Giro," he said.
"I had a few problems, which I'll speak about in Verona. It seems I'm not at the same level as I was at the start. But there's still another day tomorrow. We'll see."

Oh goody, he already has an excuse ready for after the finish in Verona.
This is why so many dislike Evans |

Nope, that means he still has not the excuse, so he'll speak in Verona after two days trying to invent something credible. |

He was pulling out injured - he was behind the grupetto, holding onto a police bike to get to the feedzone and withdraw there, the organisers decided to disqualify him before he got there instead

Interesting
After 11 stages
115 Kruijswijk (NED, RAB) +37:37
Now
18 Kruijswijk (NED, RAB) +35:51
Kruijswijk wins the giro in the 3rd week |

Nice one, he's earned a little less than 2 minutes compared to the race leader. You seem to forget one thing though.
After 11 stages Basso was 15th 11'49 behind.
Now he's in the lead. |

So if Basso had been a 22-year old neo-pro he would have been fastest but since he is not now Kruijswijk is? Sorry but that makes no sense. |

ruben was just highlighting how well Kruijswijk has done. The winning the Giro wasn't meant to be taken seriously

He would need an excuse if he'd win the Giro. Seriously he's at his best since Flèche at least (not mentioning some very good results he had before). That was a month ago!

It starts airing 15:30 here. They even said that they may start earlier ... which would be the first time in history. |

Well, it starts at 15:00 here, but that's compensated with the fact that the commentators are stupid. Not only that haven't seen a fragging bike in their life, but yesterday, just in the very moment the Mortirolo started, they called Contador by phone, and started a very interesting conversation (SARCASM ALERT!!!!) about how is him facing the Tour. Oh, that of course reducing the image's size, just to let you see the face of the commentator while he's talking to Contadick. Meh. |
