Pretty boring. The dutch defense plan is working wonders. Too bad they arn't good on the counter attack yet, they are looking for Robben every time who is marked heavily when Kuyt is standing free on the other wing.
Anyway, an early goal will open the game up. If this doesn't end up 0-0, i''ll be tipping spain at this point 2-1. |

They run after the ball, and the only way they have to prevent spanish from playing is making big fouls... Van Bommel and De Jong should already be out... |

Agree to Kumazan. They always played really well without success. Now they play not that great but they have success.
Both teams are playing very careful today, it`s not just the Netherlands. They are great in their defence. It`s hard to defend against Spain but they are doing quite well. |

Kumazan: I don't want Netherlands to attack like Chile - but considering the fact that their offensive players are much, much better than their defensive players, why aren't they trying to attack?
Right now, it looks like some sort of Kick and Rush-tactic. And when the Spanish players have the ball, kick them down! |

If that works, I see no problem with it. Holland's offensive players are good, but their main strength is in the counter-attack (except for Van Persie). |

If it worked (works), sure. We'll see. Just didn't seem to work in the 1st half. |

Stupid teams. They could have shot at least 2 goals each. Most chances in this game were 100% ones
At least it`s extremely thrilling.
Just recognized that Jimmy Jump was there today

Netherlands should be happy that it took this long for the ref to find the red card. |

How many last warnings Robben actually got by the referee at this point? |

Looked offside, but in this case, I don't care.

Yeah, should have been out long ago.

Iniesta, good way to get a goal, would have hated this to be decided in penalties. (though that can still happen) |

I can't stand Spain winning this. Their team is so incredibly arrogant. It's like a squad of Ronaldos.
Bleh.
