Thanks for the comments.
Makes me even more motivated to continue the story with PCM11. Probably I will finish this season with PCM10 and work on the DB Stuff with PCM11 to have all the transfers and teams of this story. Then starting the new season with PCM11.
@ Anonymer: Just checked it. Last year I had less than 200 with Zabriskie and won it ahead of Contador. The year before I won it with Danielson and it was even closer. Something around 160 were enough.
@Roman: Thanks a lot. |

Tour de France - Stage 15
Perpignan - Nimes
It`s the last flat stage in this Tour. So also the last chance for Haussler to take at least one stage win. It`s already a big effort that he is still in the race. Almost all other sprinters had to abandon due to the time limit. Just Peter Sagan and Boasson Hagen are still here as they are known for their good climbing skills. But in flat sprints Haussler is normally the favourite. But with 2 very hard weeks in the legs you never know.
13 riders in the break today. The weaker climbers see the last chance to get a stage win, so many riders have ambitions of course.
Lots of them already attacked in the first week like Gutiérrez, Silin or Grabovskyy. Strongest riders might be Spilak and Peraud.
You haven`t seen Garmin riders doing the work very often in this Tour so far. But today we have big ambitions and seeing our very good chance. So Löw and Lowe are working from the beginning. The group is never allowed to create a bigger gap than 2min.
Already 20km to the finish the group is caught. One point for the few sprinters. Now the pace must be kept high to avoid late attacks.
Sy.Chavanel, Gusev and Minard nevertheless tried but were caught a bit later again.
It was a very chaotic sprint preparation with so less sprinters. Vansummeren and Sanchez are bringing Haussler in a good position. On the left side you see Nuyens working for Sagan and Boasson Hagen behind him. You also see Roche, Vaugrenard, Ginanni and Pineau in very good position. Obviously these riders are the best sprinters left in this teams.
Eureka! Haussler really takes the win and proves his good form. Now he just needs to try to stay in the time limit as he wants to finish this Tour. Maybe even in the top3 in the points ranking in such a hard Tour.
Sagan and Ginanni follow on the next positions. Looking at the results you wouldn`t think on a sprint finish during the Tour de France.
But for us minimum goal achieved to get a stage win.

Thanks all for the comments. I won`t be home over the weekend, so some time before the next report.
Haussler is close to Contador, but with 6 stages left, where he always is the top favourite on the most points there is no chance with Haussler I think.
But I will have to go into breakaways to have another chance for more stage wins. |

Actually there's for sure a Champs Élysées, but it's an ITT
