As an attacker that is fairly decent, because they have Donovan, Adu, McBride and Jozy Altidore playing normally...
Adu
Adu barely ever plays, and when he does it's because of reputation. He's awful and he'll never be a good player, let alone a great player. Much less an elite player like he was supposed to become in the media.
When he arrived in Monaco everyone said he was wonderful, great talent.
Then he played some good matches. And then back to low level during the rest of the year. But at the end, he wasn't playing anymore (at least in Monaco)
He's a local for me, in fact I knew some kids who played with him on his youth team. When he first signed with DC United, the press around here was crazy, it was obvious he wasn't going to be anywhere near as good as people predicted. I'm really not surprised that he is floundering professionally. As for his playing time, he regularly starts for the US B-team. He probably won't get on the field if he even makes the selection (which is doubtful) for the World Cup.
The team in the town is playing a very important game today agaist another team that is close on on the table. It is said that the team that loses will be demoted from the premier league.
Lol, there was a report about doping controls at the confed cup here in germany, there we saw Cannavaro and some other italian dude at the doping copntrol. Cannavaro took several hours to complete the control. was joking and mocking around with the officials the whole time.
That report was actually about to show how much up to international standards the FIFA doping control system is.
I am sure they find a medical attest for Cannavaro. And yeah doping doesnt help footballers.

Pull yourself together, judging a man before it's proven. In Spain where the doping control is massive he has never been caught, that points to that Cannavaro would never do that, and by the way Juventus says that they gavee it to him because he needed treatment.

He won't be suspended, btw. I'm pretty sure.
It being CONI running the case, there is at least a little hope that they will get him suspended. Also Juventus claims it was used against a bee-sting, and they seeked suspension for it... after they gave it to him, it seems stupidity has reached a new level.

German national goalkeeper Robert Enke is dead. He was also the goalkeeper of my home- and favourite team. He was also pretty much engaged in help for children with heart problems as his daughter died of this a few years back.
I am shocked :/
Just read it may have been suicide wtf
