Contador's group goes fastes, but I don't think they are going fast enough.....And I actually thinks that group 1 will catch the leaders. |

I don't think Pellizotti will sprint for the win if Van den Broeck is still there. Not after his help during the second climb.

Is Z pulling the peloton to get VDV to Top10 or to prevent anyone attacking Wiggo? |

Fantastic job by Ligget, as he's talking about Cadel, they cut to Cadel's group, Cadel with his trademark hunch and with his custom painted bike comes flying by, and Ligget makes four different guesses about which group it is and none of them are right |

It looks like Armstrong isn't a counter attacking kind of climber anymore. With age he's turned into more of the type that lets an attack go and rides a steady temp to pull them back (if he can). Seems like his body needs to gear up for an effort rather then just flipping a switch like before.
Lots of climbers work that way... just not what we are used to with Lance.
While the pace did slow at the front which let him come back... he was still strong enough to do it, and led several others back to the group.
Not saying he's a GT podium guy anymore... but he's still probably one of the top 7-10 climbers on the road in the race right now. Just not at the level of the schlecks, wiggins, contador, kloden and Nibali right now. |
