Yes, slipped my mind.
Gesink against Nibali in TT? Nibali better.
Gesink against Nibali in Mountain? Gesink ahead of Nibali.
Or is that wrong? |

Nibali will probably loose more to Gesink in the mountains than Gesink will lose in a time trial. Gesink isn't a bad TT'er |

Gesink vs Nibali in TT:
Rider 1: Rider 2:
NED GESINK Robert 4 - 1 ITA NIBALI Vincenzo
1 10/06/2009 Fra Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, Stage 4 : Bourg-les-Valence - Valence I.T.T. 13. 14.
2 7/06/2009 Fra Critérium du Dauphiné Libéré, Stage 1 : Nancy I.T.T. 46. 5.
3 11/04/2009 Esp Vuelta al Pais Vasco, Stage 6 : Zalla - Zalla I.T.T. 9. 11.
4 15/03/2009 Ita Tirreno - Adriatico, Stage 5 : Loreto - Macerata I.T.T. 6. 16.
5 13/08/2008 Chn Olympic Games (Beijing) - I.T.T. 10. 14.
The only exception is the Dauphine prologue, where Nibali is better. In long TT's Gesink >> Nibali
Gesink is simply better than Nibali on every aspect except prologues.
Did I mention Gesink is the most underrated TT-er. Everybody has this image of him being a climber with no TT. While this year, he nearly always top 20-top 10/ed in long time trials.
Gesink on the level on Kreuziger in general classifications. Yes, Kreuziger has won more, but that is because Kreuziger picks easier races to exploit his form, Romandie, Tour de Suisse... the field is weaker there than in Dauphine, Pais Vasco or the Ardennes classics (where Gesink is good).

Kreuziger is better than Gesink? Gesink is better than Kreuziger? We can't know it. No real comparison so far.. Well I'm Czech. So Kreuziger is better B) |

If the teams preparation for the Giro is anything to go by, then you'd have to back Gesink over Kreuziger.
Then again, what you get away with at the Giro and what you get away with at the Tour are nowadays a little different... |

Awesome, reminds me of Montgomery Montgomery, the character from "A Series of Unfortunate Events"
From Wikipedia, about Neville Neville:
Neville has achieved somewhat of a cult status among football fans, not least because of his unusual name but also because of his raucous partying with the wives and girlfriends (WAGs) of the England players that took place in Germany at the 2006 World Cup. Neville stood on a couch at a local restaurant and bar and proceeded to lead the WAGs in singing the national anthem and smashing their champagne glasses.[10]
His name is part of what has been called "one of the best chants in football":[11][12]
Neville Neville, they're in defence
Neville Neville, their future's immense
Neville Neville, they ain't half bad
Neville Neville, the name of their dad
(Sung to the tune of David Bowie's "Rebel Rebel"

Good that he is not riding..
"Valverde prepared to help Contador - at the Tour"...
What is this anyway? I remember Italians start to work together when they need to play against some other rider..but Italians have been always bastards in any sport.
But even they did not never talked about it in public. |
