Might be a 50/50 decision. But the ball did not hit the hand. Even the commentator said it after a couple of replays in the end. |

Did look like hand play at first view. Then all replays I watched so far were no hand play.
Definitely a lot of good luck with it for HSV though. |

@roturn: You seem to be right. The freekick should not have been given...As well as the Penalty in the end.
But still...HSV still in league 1. I am so happy. I hope we will be better than this season.

Haven`t seen the freekick scene since then again.
The penalty indeed was a joke.
But it wouldn`t have changed anything. The away goal rule needs a bit change imo. This rule should no longer be valid in extra time as this makes it not fair for the team, that is playing on home ground the 2nd game.
HSV really seems to be the team that just can`t relegate, no matter how bad they play. The fans really need to hope for some better management decisions in future. Otherwise we will see this scenario a lot of times in next years.
I love how Toni always makes it very obvious, he is a Bremen supporter. Unfortunately he will never play with Bremen any time.

That said, they have a horrible management for some years now and I don`t really like how they are able to throw around with money they shouldn`t have, while other teams need to check every penny twice. And most important, still play better then.
This is why I wanted to see Hamburg to relegate this year as it`s 2 years in a row now to be very close and I have seen far better football by Paderborn or Freiburg, who have to go down.
That said, Karlsruhe yesterday was playing horrible. Hamburg though not much better. In first game, it wa the other way. Karlsruhe a bit better than Hamburg. Imo both teams did not play like a 1. Bundesliga team. |

I couldn't agree more. I wanted to see Hamburg get into the 2nd league first. But mid-game, I saw that everything is possible. The HSV didn't deserve to stay in the 1. league, but I hope(like last year), that they change something(if possible the Management) and improve, to not get in the last 3 spots again.
