Has the paperwork been released?
Armstrong is also claiming the guy wrote there were no inconsistencies with the test before he left... which I think would be pretty easy to test (I'm assuming Lance has to sign the paperwork at some point so we should be able to tell if it's the correct document).
The fact is this shouldn't have been leaked. The AFLD does have permission to hammer armstrong if he broke the rules... but the fact they released the info before deciding on a punshment shows a fair bit of bias on their part.
The UCI president said the same thing:
"The fact (is) the test was done and was a matter of fact reported by Lance Armstrong himself on Twitter,'' UCI president Pat McQuaid told the BBC. "Then the French authorities decided to make up a report on the testing procedure, forward it to the UCI - knowing that the UCI have no jurisdiction in this case - and at the same time that report has leaked to the press.
"So I would have to question why is that the case? I would have to say that the French are not acting very professionally in this case.''

Danish rider Jakob Fuglsang was supposed to ride the Giro this spring but his program has now been chanced. He will ride the ardennes as helper for the Schlecks. And the ride Volta Catalunya where he will be able to ride his own chance. And why does this bother you in anyway? Because I say so.

Now that the biggest one-day Classic is out of the way, it's time to think about the season's grandest Grand Tour: the Tour de France.
Grand beginning

It's not any specific part of the article....it's that anyone can pick literally any of the 13 parts of it and there'll be .....how can I put this gently?.....let's call it "not-so-smart" things written there

You mean skip the Ardennes and forget about that thing in Italy?
EDIT - Gotcha now. Read the article earlier on cyclingnews and was a little bemused by it. WTF they talking about Sastre like that for?

And people wonder why non-cycling fans think the season starts and ends at the Tour. I'm sure there must be a cycling fan somewhere at cyclingnews, perhaps they should have proof-read it. Twice. And then fire the author! |

Maybe no Astana and no Armstrong in the Giro. Maybe Kashechkin and Vino could change that if they where allowed to race. |

One punctured lung, several cracked ribs and cranial trauma....all for Robbie McEwen

BIG NEWS
The staff and riders of Astana haven't been paid for a month now. The vice-president of the Kazakhstani federation says the possibility the team will be disbanded is "very real"

We've really had some months of awesome news. Valverde very likely to be banned and now Astana. What's next, Santa? |

Update: apparently, the team has several offers of european companies wishing to sponsor. This would end the kazakhstani association with the team.
