Stage 5/7:
Not a great performance by the Nippo team, Bespalov was our best man as he ended 48th while Gil ended 67th and so he falls to the 19th spot in the GC :x Dave Z takes an easy win while George Hincapie ends 2nd. Piotr Mazur does a god job aswell, the Polish TT champ ends 3rd.

Stage 6/7:
The toughest stage, Valverde has a save lead but he still needs to look out for Ricco who also looked very strong the last time. In today's break we have a Nippo who listens to the name of Moises Duenas
A small but strong group
However Duenas isnt in form as he has to let go before Veikkanen has to! They get taken in eventually and on the final climb the leader, Valverde makes a move to which no one reacts. Linus Gerdemann however is brave enough to go after him
Left: vValverde attacks!, Right: Gerdemann trying to reach Valverde
However the remaining riders chase Gerdemann down but they dont reach Valverde. Ricco attacks in the final km but its too late...
Ricco comes up short as Valverde goes on to another win
Valverde doesn't crack and wins the stage, he also increases his lead. Gil meanwhile is the 15th rider to cross the finishline and because of this he is now 10th in the GC.
Valverde is just too strong for the rest...

Stage 7/7:
The final stage of the Tirreno Adriatico, a group of 7 gets away but it never gets a big lead and so we get a sprint and again its a nice test to see how Benatti will fare against all the others, when the sprint is about to begin Benatti is in the back in Freire's train but when the sprint begins he immediatly jumps toward Davis' wheel who is up front with Napolitano
Napolitano with an early lead with Davis next to him who has Benatti behind him!
Napolitano loses his lead to Davis and then its time for Benatti to take him down but it comes to late, he is faster than Davis but Allan Davis just holds on for the win but atleast Benatti beats guys like Petacchi, Freire, Hushovd and McEwen.
Allan Davis wins in front of Benatti and Napolitano

The first classic of the year, after 50 kms an early break is formed
The break of the day
However the break ofcourse has no chances of succeeding at all. With 80 kms they are caught and then it's time for the favourites to show themselves. For a long time every attack is neutralized thanks to the Milram and Liquigas troops but then just before the Cipressa its a Belgian who gets away and later he is accompanied by a Spaniard.
Juan Antonio Flecha and Stijn Devolder on their way to the Cipressa
They make it over the Cipressa and now the pack must take them back on the Poggio. However the strong teams are tired and only Milram is left up front with Astarloa and Celestino. Their hard work isnt enough to catch these 2 on the Poggio however Petacchi does have less competition now...
McEwen, Hushovd and Bennati can't hang on on the Poggio...
And so Nippo wont grab any pt points, the climb is a bit too much for Bennati...up front Flecha and Devolder start their sprint a deux but in the back the sprinters are approaching!
Devolder catches Flecha by surprise!
But Devolder overestimates himself and meets the man with the hammer, Pozzato, Freire, Petacchi and Bettini get closer to Flecha and while Devolder is taken down Flecha has to fight till the final metre...
Flecha just beats the sprinters and wins Milano San Remo!

And so 1 day before the race takes place in real life the Nippo's entered Flanders today in the world of pcm. We have no hopes here as Boom is our best cobble rider and if he gets into the top 50 im happy. The race really begins after 70 kms when a break is formed...well actually its a one man break
Amets Txurruka is the only one who dares to attack in Flanders
offcourse Txurruka doesn't make it far and is caught with 100 kms to go. Then with 60 kms to go the Quick Steps launch a surprise attack which surprises all the favourites, however one man did manage to follow the QSI train and thats Hincapie! De Jongh and Van Impe upped the pace with Boonen in their wheel and only Hincapie reacted as De Jongh pulled away from the pack! A bit later De Jongh has to let go and then Hincapie ups the pace in order to get rid of Boonen's last teammate, Van Impe
Hincapie accelerates, Boonen follows but Van Impe cracks with 40 kms to go
They build up a big lead and behind these 2 all the others try everything to get closer. In the 2nd group the Rabobank men are trying to get closer as they want Flecha to win here, behind them riders such as Hoste, Cancellara and Ballan also start to chase but its too late for them...
Left: Rabo's working for Flecha, Right: Cancellara leads the group of the favourites who are left behind
One by one the Rabobank men have to let go and so only 2 riders are left, with the gap over 2 minutes it is clear that either Boonen or Hincapie will win today
Flecha and Burghardt are fighting for the 3rd and 4th spot...
Up front Boonen and Hincapie reach 'De Muur', and there the battle is decided!
Left: George takes off! Right: Boonen sees Hincapie riding away from him
Boonen gets closer in the final kms but not close enough to catch Hincapie, and so Hincapie wins the Ronde Van Vlaanderen!
George Hincapie wins de Ronde Van Vlaanderen by beating Boonen!

Two in the top 50 isn't that bad especially since you don't have a cobbles team.

hehe yes I was controlling them the whole time and because of that I missed some things up front but in the end it worked out Boom has 73 cobbles so he did well and Claeys has 67 so thats even better. However whats also quite funny is that guys such as Paulinho, Moerenhout and Marzano who have extremely low cobble stats still managed to end in the top 50

We bring a strong team to France for the GP Rennes with Docker, Serebriakov and Miyazawa as our sprinters. First we have the break of the day which is quite small and doesnt seem strong enough to make it at all
The break with Gudsell, Kuzniak, Kaggestad and Rodriguez Parra
With Kuzniak and Gudsell being caught 10 kms before the end we get ready for a bunchsprint, the Nippo's try alot but dont take the win in Rennes as one guy is clearly stronger than the rest
Tyler Farrar takes an easy win while Serebriakov ends 2nd

Off to Spain
Stage 1/6:
The first of many hilly stages, in the early break there are some strong riders such as Danielson and Andy Schleck. Also our very own Konstantin Siutsou is present
The break with Proni up front
Their lead never gets big but nevertheless they're still up front when they enter the final climb, the 'Alto da Jaizkabel'. Here a group of about 15 riders, mostly favourites, join the break. But 3 riders are too strong for the group as they take off.
Left: Ricco and Kessler escape, Frank Schleck would also join them, Right: Horner and Siutsou lead the chase!
Ricco, Kessler and Schleck increase their lead even though Gil, Siutsou and the 12 other riders try everything to get closer. In the sprint Ricco is nervous
Ricco takes off with Schleck and Kessler in his wheel
But apparently the Italian is in shape, as Schleck and Kessler dont even get close!
Victory for Ricco
