Perfect leadout for Hushovd. Was it Hincapie pulling off that led to that all important gap?
Looked like Cav definately gave up before the line.
It looked like a rider from one of the small teams, the white ones.

Nope

That was Farrar in his windcape.

Looking at the replay again, Hincapie pulling off did have an impact - because the rider that was behind Hincapie (might have been Farrar) could not close the gap to Hushovds wheel |

Pro Tour races range from the multi-day “Grand Tour” stage races such as the Tour de France, Giro d’Italia and the Vuelta a España and the Amgen Tour of California to single day “Classics” such as the Ronde van Vlaanderen and Milan-Sanremo.
huh?

Again, it looks like Renshaw is the man with the form for Columbia. He put in a good prologue and held on well for 3rd place today. I think he'll do a brilliant job for Cav once they get the train practiced and sorted.
Cévelo really nailed the sprint though, that was a great job. The speed of Freire at the end though, he must have a great chance of winning one of the next two stages. |

Bicycle races are popular all over the world, especially in Europe. The most devoted countries are Italy, Spain, Belgium, Germany, France, the Netherlands winner, Greg LeMond as well as seven-time winner Lance Armstrong.
This is also a bit odd

great for Cervelo..they needed..this is giving great boost for team mentality .They remind me last year Slipstream. New team spirit. Damn that they destroyed Unibet few years ago.

The circuit last night was all a battle of the mind. If you put a lot of guys at the front to drill it along in the wet other teams will find it phycologically hard to get guys at the front because of course you have to go faster in risky sections to get at the front. Once cervelo were on the front and had some free space it was no wonder that Hushovd won by a huge margin. If you were to swap riders round and Cav was in Thor's place that exact same thing would have happened without doubt. |

I just had a look on the recap and the sprint finish - excellent job by Cervelo!
.. and Hincapie didn't look too happy with Cavendish |

Because he doesn't want to take any risks in the early season, in rainy and thus dangerous conditions? |

Nice to see Thomas Lövkvist active in some breakaways. But he is way to dangerous to Astana to let him go. And he really should work for Rogers who can win if Leiphamier have a bad time trail. |
