Cervelo are starting to fall behind now, technologies are moving on, for example Specialized use a tappered head tube on some of their top end bikes like the Tarmac and Roubaix, makes for a 25% stiffer front end and 150% increase in handling. Trek make the big mistake of using a low modulus carbon to get a good shape. This pays in comfort and stifness, Cervelos make up their. Straight tubes not curves or thats how they used to be. Not Cervelo use high modulus carbon but force is to curve in ways that its not designed to. This results in a overly stiff rear end with no vertical compliance but the front end is ok. Specialized SL2 Frame is round the 850g mark where Cerevelo and Trek start to reach 1 Kg Thats just my little speech.
Hey, Trek, for road bikes with the Madone, has the 90mm Bottom Bracket, a good mixture of light weight and stiffness, and 8 Tour de France's in 9 years.
So what does Specialized have again?
2 Times world Champion, 1st in its debut year, Tour of Flanders, The Roubaix won the roubaix in its Debut year. Green jersey for le tour, King of the mountains this year. Yes i know! It was Kohl that just for the Tarmax SL2 and Roubaix SL2 |

Nah, it's the super fast model that Boonen gets to ride this coming year. As you can see, his mummy bought it for him for Christmas as it has a container on the back for all his coke.

Why do you fervently defend a bike company? At least Smoothie works for Specialized (sad git).
And everyone knows that Raleigh are the way forward...

Because I work for a bike shop that exclusively sells Trek. I believe you are currently making a shirt for it:

So far, we haven't really heard about what you guys got for Christmas - it's about time now
Main things that I got:
Nokia E66 -- I went from a very basic 6300 to this E66, and I love it. I've been missing the advanced functions for a while now.
Pro Evolution Soccer 2009 for PS3 -- ready to beat isso? I most certainly am
Electric tooth brush
Some clothes, a cd, a book .. and I remember getting more, I just don't remember what exactly |

What I got:
Wii - it's pure fun, specially Mario Kart!
1-year subscription to ProCycling magazine - something that's worth reading and learning more English from, at last.
A portable battery for my laptop - it will be really useful because of my work.
Valve oil, grease and some reparation stuff for my horn - a need. |
