Well, if you say 410 is the limit, throwing out somebody doing 411 is harsh, especially without a positive drug test.
But is there much doubt about riders regularly doing 435-440 ?
Exactly, that's all I'm trying to say. And what if a once in a lifetime athlete comes along and can produce 425-430. That's why it would be a great indicator that a drug test is needed. |

If we are going to start using wattage to give an indication of doping, then as a result power meters must be fitted to all the cyclists bikes. This is the best way of measuring the power output of the cyclists. Even the I have problems.
Forgive me, I don't know anything about power meters for bikes, do they take into account the work done vertically (i.e. climbing) in addition to the work done in the horizontally (i.e. on the flat)?

From a usually very well-informed source on a Danish forum, 7 riders tested positive for CERA in the retesting:
Sastre
Bernhard Kohl
F. Schleck
Arvesen
Cancellara
Schumacher (confirmed)
Piepoli (confirmed)
According to the source, those are 100 % sure. Other than those, two riders are - unofficially - also tested positive:
Valjavec
Efimkim
He also says that 28 riders had suspicious values during this year's TdF.
We'll see if he's right
kohl also confirmed now
we will wait for the rest of the list
