Great stuff by Contador, Im surprised Miholjevic did any work, he probably ended Cataldo's chances! Contador's got this sewn up now surely.

This is hard...but dont need to worried..Contador is only in decent form inside aces like..Menchov,Rasmussen, Di Luca,A.Schleck,Perreiro etc. Main rivals so far is Arvesen , Ardila ..Lopez Carcia that tell's a lot about Giro aces form so far. |

Stage 5
El Burgo de Osma - Sora
Last stage. Contador have over 2min. lead in general classification... belive that it's gonna be quite easy to protect.
So called Vandevelde breakaway group...I noticed that in top at first climb we have some clouds. Vande Velde is best man in that group (13min. behind in GC)...no need to get worried.
Second climb Gutierrez and Noe atacks. Today Contador dont fight for stage win..I decided to give a chanche to Lowe ..that australian boy has rided over my expetation and he is nr. 2 man of Discovery team GC.
Noe can celebrate before finish ,he is only atacker who survived ...nice way end this tour.
Trent Lowe finishing 5.th...I belive this help him to rise few places hire in GC. Contador had easy ride..he was well protected by Paulinho and Martinez.

Harelbeke - Harelbeke
Only chanche to do something against Boonen is those small hills at the second part of the stage.
Most of the time Quickstep controls the race..almost in every hill top. Disco trio Hincapie, Gusev and Devolder moves in front and but some extra to speed. This might end with disaster (raiders just dont have any legs left at the end)..but so far I am enjoying result. Main group geting smaler and smaler.
Ok its time to atack..Boonen, Hincapie, Burghardt.
Burghardt cant follow..I am already thinking isn't it reasnoble to go with that cobble murder (just have bad memories)
In the bridge..10 km. to go when Hincapie decided to drink he's last bottle..Boonen doing it again. After drinking I was trying in 99% relay no use..I hate this Tome guy when we have in cobble
No point to follow cobble "train" ..and also Burghardt catches me...well done young man. He is definatly in better position to sprint..and again I have kind of deja vu thing..no time to play cat and mouse I have to sprint to stay in top free
He's doing it again clear win..I am starting to exept that view (or we need another DB).
Hincapie 3.rd...good I am not dissapointed at all.

Stage 1
Middelkerke - Zottegem
62km. to go van Petegem is down..this is it we can count him already out in GC competition.
After last small hill..peloton seems to surprised by two Tinkoff riders Trusov, Elio Aggiano and Milrams Lorenzetto had 150m. gap. Best news for me is that Vaitkus has survived all those sharp hills and now he is in good sprint position
Finish is close..but who gonna win. This is between Trusov and Lorenzetto.
Sad that I wasnt in this battle..this was beautiful. Lorenzetto wins.
..and here comes Vaitkus. Is nice to see him realy in action at first time on this season. 3.rd. place wasnt far..still 4.th and beats McGee and rest of the punch.

Technical DB problem...in De panne tour...
3.rd stage - he gives TT equipment and sign..that this will be TT. But stage himself has 180km long..with mountain top finishes and sprints.
I think ..I simulate thrue this tour..and hope that sord of mistakes dont will repeated (so much for pefect PPDB)...and I afraid to change anything on DB to avoid crashes. |

No plakker is generally helpful when there are crashes, it's just when he's already answered it that he gets annoyed

what I mean is check the forum. probably someone had that problem and it's been answered before.
plakker is actually nice with people when they're reporting crashes. just don't ever disagree with him on anything....or he'll call you an idiot.
