how many times, he finds the olympics much more important this year. He has a far greater chance of winning Gold in Beijing then Green in the tour

Say goodbye to Bennati for green. his tendon has aggravated and he's definitely out.

Cavendish has said that there is no pre-race plan to withdraw from the race and he will only do so if he feels he is affecting his Olympic chances - believing that 21 days of hard racing is good preparation for Beijing.
He will target 4 stages in the first week - but is not going after yellow and will sit up at the bottom of the stage ending climb on Stage 1.

I really hope this climb at the end of the first stage will make every favourite attack, because I'll be there
should be cool to see Valverde, Ricco and co. sprint past me in an attack there |

Doddy, I heard you talking about the Cycling Weekly preview of all the stages where it says "Look out for Cav!" on some stages where he might do well.
Well, I just took a look at it today and on stage 6 it says "look out for Cav!". Stage 6 is an uphill finish, arguabley a mountain top finish as well at 1,300m high. They're idiots

yeah, i noticed that today when i read it, and thought, what the hell, that mountain before will kill him and the uphill finish. Unless he's said he can do it to them, i dunno

Supposed to be watching the 2008 TdF preview right now, but for the past hour they have just been showing highlights of every stage from last year's TdF and the doping scandals
Rasmussen has just won the stage before he was forced to quit (stage 16), still an hour left of this

Sort of hilly, uphill finish anyway. I'd bet on Pozzato or Freire for the win.

The program was pretty disappointing for a supposed preview.
