you can look at it 2 ways.

they're either both incredible athletes having played non stop for 10 hours.

or they're both equally bad and have been playing for 10 hours and still can't win.

did anyone even come close to winning?

imagine if you'd been sat there all day watching it waiting for the next game to come on:lol:

Serve seems to be the strength of each of them - which explains the deadlock. Both players has a few break point opportunities in the set, but not a lot.

I really doubt the crowd there were complaining, more rather pleased that they got to witness the longest match ever - the crowd was packed throughout, and they didnt want it to stop when they did.

Anyway, according to the Wimbeldon website, they will be 3rd on Court 18 tomorrow - and not on before 3:30 British time

Didn't they actually start out yesterday, playing for 3 hours. Then they continued the match today? 7 hours in a day is still alot, but 10 hours would probably be alot harder.

Yeh. Yesterday afternoon/evening - it ended then at 2 sets all. Today they started soon after 2pm, right until 9pm - was the 5th set, from 0-0 to 59-59

Eventho it seems a bit like they've given up breaking each others' serves.

Poor Isner lost in the second round to De Bakker

But that's logical, he couldn't serve or move anymore, well who could after 11h of tennis??

Amazing match Fedex vs. Berdych! And I'm of course very glad that Berdych won. Smile

Berdych was excellent. I think he has every chance of beating Djokovic.

Murray vs Nadal should be interesting. Surely it's only a matter of time before he wins his first grand slam, but it would be a little surprising if he pulled it off on grass. This has been a very unpredictable Wimbledon however, and it shouldn't really be too much of a surprise whoever goes on to win now.

Berdych did great today, but Id still be surprised if he wins it. He's never made a Grand Slam final before, and even though he clearly is in the form of his life, to win Wimbledon he will have needed to beat 3 of the World's Top 4 ranked players in 3 consecutive rounds - thats tough.
