Nystrand and Lillhage both failed in the swimming today. We have two bronze matches in a sport I don't remember the english name of at the moment, but anyway.
wrestling?
Is it really called that?
Okay, thats the one in that case
I'm not really sure, but a translater on the net says that. But does it really have the same name as that fake sport? Have to wait for the englishishesses to correct me..

Aha, it was Wrestling, Men's Greco-Roman, in 120 kg and 84 kg. But Ara ABRAHAMIAN in 84 kg may not be allowed to contend the bronze match, cause he didn't thank the judge after the semifinal. Was something about the judgement there..

Well there seems to have been a lot of rain today in Beijing and other areas where the events are taking place. Sailing, Rowing, and Canoe/Kayaking have been called off for the day, while things probably dont look good for the likes of Tennis, Baseball and Softball.

Too many. I don't quite get it, really.
I don't like gymnastics, but it's more fair. To win a gymnastics medal, you will need to be good in several disciplines. There's the "bars", the "floor", etc. Without knowing much about it, I think there's 5 disciplines, and the winner of gymnastics is the one with most points after all disciplines. Had it been like in swimming, you would have many, many medals in gymnastics, and China would be completely dominating.

Denmark suck.
Yep, I have zero trust in Phelps. Really, it's just too weird.
What if Merckx was riding today...
Well, some are just better. But, the amount of WR's has just been huge in swimming - and, there's no valid test for growth hormone.
Personally, I think the swimmers have just begun to eat more pasta like the Italians in the middle of the 90's.
I don't think its doping in terms of the sport overall, I'm not sure about Phelps though, as for the overall lowering of times, I think it has to do with that new speedo suit.
Stairs: Merckx was also doped. He tested positive even though the tests were sucky as hell. That says a lot, doesn't it?
Deadpool: I've heard several swimmers (although only one came forward with his name, the rest were anonymous) say that the Speedo suit is mainly just a cover-up for using a new kind of doping (probably growth hormones, as suggested by someone else). |

Maybe but then why would all the other swim companies allow thier swimmers to break contrack to use the speedo suit. The Japanese OC allowed for the first time ever swimmers to wear non-jamanese suits, I can't imagine all of theese people being
a) fooled or
b)part of a very elaborate cover up
